Can you please name one (1) character who could possibly defeat the One Punch Man? Asking for a friend of mine.
Can you please name one (1) character who could possibly defeat the One Punch Man? Asking for a friend of mine
He who reside in His Kingdom in Heaven.
Arale
Me.
Uchia Madara and I'm not talking about Edo Tensei Uchia Madara
1M lions is a lot of lions
Bobobo and Arale are the only characters capable of defeating him.
Rock Lee
Trunks
Which Madara are you talking about?
Giorno.
BoBoBo is tailor-made to whup One Punch Man
He's experienced in handling baldies
a mosquito
Another One Punch Man.
can Saitama hit so hard he himself couldn't punch it back?
If it's alive, I can even kill God
Zen-Oh from Dragon Ball Super who can simply erase the universe Saitama exists in.
Hiatus
accelerator
what if he just punches not existence really hard
homu
Give it a few more months and any DBS character will have surpassed anything he can do, I can't believe how shit the author is, all he can do is asspull new power levels
Winrar
Kirby
Saitama isnt Superboy Prime
he cant punch concepts
Are you sure?
I don't think he has tried.
Any character with a wide range teleport ability could teleport him 12 galaxies away and he'd eventually suffocate.
I think of it like him not being able to punch a fly's ability to dodge his attacks
like the joke is that he can one-shot enemies, not punch humanity's lack of comprehension of the afterlife
>delete one punch man anime from my computer
>effectively beat him
Fart his way back
I can see saitama doing it
>I can even kill God
No he couldn't. God would be stronger than the root
Speed king's hidden ability, no contest
...
Popeye
Saitama still dies with a poke
Lots of characters from Medaka have powers which are literally "this power allows you to always win, no matter what".
Touma from Index has a power with which he can anialate anyone's power. Accelerator from the same universe can manipulate vectors, so he could basically make Saitama punch himself.
Look don't compare Saitama to other characters. The point is that he can defeat anyone with one punch, and we get to enjoy all the other heroes have cool fights.
His power isn't something that can be beat though. He was even holding back against Boros just to make the fight entertaining.
His name isnt One Punch Man
It's Caped Baldy.
And there currently does not exist a character in his fiction that can beat him.
King
>The point is that he can defeat anyone with one punch
Thats wrong though
Boros and Garou lives through his punches.
Hell, it was his words that stopped Garou from being a monster.
Also, his name is Caped Baldy, not One Punch Man.
And the point of the series is that he wants to be recognised as a Hero by the Association, the very Association that was founded by his courage.
This was all in the first episode, dude.
Great theory, user, but do you have any official evidence? If not kindly shut the fuck up and take your crossover fan fiction elsewhere.
Why do people like One Punch Man? How can there be any conflict or tension in the show when there is no challenge for the MC since he is basically unbeatable? I always thought this was a meme show, but you guys seem to love it.
A stick
...
>Why do people like One Punch Man? How can there be any conflict or tension in the show when there is no challenge for the MC since he is basically unbeatable?
There is conflict and tension, you're just looking in the wrong places.
People who say this have never actually read or watched the material.
this is a strong contender.
I might actually willingly pay to see a popeye vs your comic book superhero of choice battle movie.
The show doesn't focus on Saitama though.
>The show doesn't focus on Saitama though.
Saitama is the pivot character
His actions have a huge reaction on the world around him.
The very corrupted hero assiciation that has literally become the government was founded because of his actions
King is an S Class hero because of Saitama
All kinds of shit happens because of shit he does.
He's powerful but he lives in his world and his world doesnt treat him as an outsider.
So you're saying with other shounen it was never obvious that protagonist is going to win?
I watched the first episode because my friends put it on and thought it was stupid. I don't see any reason to continue.
It doesn't really matter who it focuses on, nothing truly bad can ever happen when this invincible guy is around. It's not like any other show where if the heroes fail the world ends or the city explodes, or whatever. Its like oh we lost well this guy will one shot them.
Yes but they have to struggle to win. This guy can just meme punch them and its over.
stick win everytime
The 12 Gods of Destruction and Zeno-sama, since they can erase anything regardless of it´s power.
>or the city explodes
A city literally gets leveled before Saitama can do anything about it. Just because he can one shot everything doesn't mean he is superman.
One Kick Man if he cant then Chuck Norris is the only hope
>I watched the first episode because my friends put it on and thought it was stupid. I don't see any reason to continue.
Thats understandable, it's a rather silly concept of a show but personally I think it is an interesting take on how an overpowered hero can be almost nonsensical to the point he has inner conflict of no longer being able to enjoy life because hes gotten too good at something. His chance to be recognised at the Hero Association does get him interesting in pursuing his hobby to become a hero and its a pretty crazy ride with some awesome characters who get inspired by his actions.
>It doesn't really matter who it focuses on, nothing truly bad can ever happen when this invincible guy is around. It's not like any other show where if the heroes fail the world ends or the city explodes, or whatever. Its like oh we lost well this guy will one shot them.
Literally nobody in the fiction, Barely anybody knows Saitama's power, and some even blame him after the meteorite incident. His own friend even doubts his "I just trained a lot" training.
Read/Watch the fiction or fuck off, Don't act like you know shit about something just because you saw one episode.
is this series good? should I read it?
faggot
Him. Don't make this guy angry.
>Can you please name one (1) character who could possibly defeat the One Punch Man? Asking for a friend of mine.
Reigen
It's pretty entertaining, though after Garous Arc its kinda slowed down and lost its focus.
>This guy can just meme punch them and its over.
>meme punch
Just like every shounen that has ever used a nakama power up then.
It's not about conflict or tension, it's a comedy. The Joke is that everyone thinks these situations are tense but Saitama is unconcerned and unthreatened and more worried about trivial things like sales at the grocery store.
Obviously Bleach, DBZ, Pokeman, One Piece can beat him because theyre stronger than One Punch Man
Captain Tylor.
So? What's the difference between Saitama and Gon from HxH? That Gon wasn't overpowered from the beginning? That the enemy starts out stronger than him? But you already know that he'll train and get stronger.
The thing is that in HxH you know the good guys will win but you care about how they win and who might die (most likely Gon punching the strongest enemy). With OPM you know Saitama beats the enemy but you care about the other heros who struggle and can die.
Him being overpowered is like a catchphrase or a running gag. Sure you can dislike that but it doesn't really ruin the show.
In what way? There's been almost no updates after Garou so how can you say that?
>It's not about conflict or tension
OPM has way more depth and content than people give it credit for. It's a manga more focused on social aspects of heroes, the action is just a hook or set piece. It's not like regular shounen where action is the focus.
goku
/thread
create a character and make him more overpowered than saitama end of the problem
This user knows where it's at.
Are we talking Uchiha Sasuke with the Pro DX Shiggydiggy and the Eternal Kamehameha Soul?
>How can there be any conflict or tension in the show when there is no challenge for the MC
Theres plenty of conflict and tension going on in the show, Saitama is just the ideal image of a hero in a world where Heros are practically celebrities and the image of heroes are crumbling in the eyes of many people.
Theres a lot to this world but you're looking at it as "If he cant die, its a shit show" and youre not looking at the bigger picture why the world works the way it does. I cant fault you for not being interested, but dont act like you know shit.
According to the word of the creator of OPM, Saitama at max is half an universe buster.
So he is weaker than Super Saiyan God Goku and everybody stronger than him in Super (Beerus, Whis, Champa, Vados, Vegeta, Freeza, Hit, Zeno, Zeno bodyguards, Grand Priest, Probably all the GoDs, Probably all the angels, Black, Trunks, Toppo, Jiren, #17 and Gohan).
Also Omega Shenron and SSJ4 Gogeta from GT
every blue fucker in this show.
Where are the tohou fags?
>According to the word of the creator of OPM, Saitama at max is half an universe buster.
Source or shut the fuck up
I say with certainty that OPM is pretty weak.
You see, One Punch Man is for people who have watched enough anime or read enough stories or seen enough TV in general to realize that good always wins and the stories where it doesn't are usually edgy poorly-written mopes with little to offer in the way of entertainment. So taking as a given that good will win and the hero will show up late and end it, OPM focuses a lot on humor and character design, has a lot of quick and almost episodic arcs and plots with interesting matchups of superhero/monster fights, and generally just gives a lot of the fun stuff about superhero anime without dwelling on itself or being afraid to break the tension with a joke or just to wrap things up. It's really well-animated and the manga is drawn very well too, even the webcomic is a lot of fun. Watch Genos' fight vs Saitama and then Boros' fight vs Saitama right after each other and notice the similarly mobile fighting style but how Boros emanates raw, organic power in his movements whereas Genos takes the idea of mechanical assists and tight martial arts to give his fighting a cyborg style. Every fight is an exhibition of art and action and teaches you more about the strengths and weaknesses of the heroes who aren't Saitama. Everything is also fairly disposable because Saitama will just win somehow, usually in a humorous anticlimax. The side characters are the ones gradually getting stronger - or not, and you don't have to go on an endless powerclimb like DBZ to show entertaining stuff because Saikyo is already more or less set at a known level - Saitama, the main character. We don't have to roll our eyes knowing the hero's previous development is about to be made irrelevant by unlocking the next secret hidden power from deep within. He's already unlocked, we can just watch the rambling journey from strong to weak foes in no particular order with side characters showing up for fun. It's wonderfully gratuitous.
The thing that was going around was one of Saitama's max punches could wipe out half the universe or had half the strength of the big bang. That is one of his punches, one.
Saitama's power is to deus ex machina away any bad guy. He scales with the power of his opponent.

No it fucking doesn't.
Saitama is literally just "Strong".
Thats all we know.
We know hes trained a lot and through sheer effort, mileage and perseverence, he's become physically and mentally powerful.
Everyone else in his world gained their power with tactics, modification, genetics, changing, transformation, tools, cybernetics, birth etc. and never tried to put in the effort of actually becoming strong themselves to pursue their hobbies.
Saitama is literally the ideal vision of a hero. Someone whos put in the man hours, proficient to get the job done.... yet they're never taken seriously because heros in this world are never taken seriously.
Why does this bait OP always work its even written the same way every time fuck you people
>Everyone else in his world gained their power with tactics, modification, genetics, changing, transformation, tools, cybernetics, birth etc. and never tried to put in the effort of actually becoming strong themselves to pursue their hobbies.
Um, my man.
What do you call literally every Tank Top, if not people who trained for years and years ceaselessly?
I never acted like I knew shit. I know the basic premise. The picture you posted doesn't prove anything I said wrong though and the fact the fucking picture is called one meme man just goes to show that people watch it for lulz and memes, or they are underage like 90% of Sup Forums.
Did they literally go through the training while it felt like their bones were crushing and breaking through the winter and summer?
If so, then they should be the level of efficiency like Saitama, otherwise, they're just tryhards.
Also, the Hero assiciation was formed After Saitama started his training, Whos to say these guys were always hulking?
Nice job rewording a debunked meme about Saitama punching at half a big bangs power.
>If so, then they should be the level of efficiency like Saitama
And you get this information from where exactly?
Also Saitama told us exactly how "tough" his training was. And it wasn't. It's the kind of training someone who has a sport as a hobby would do. No more tough than what you'd do if you were part of a non-professional Baseball club and were a fan of winning.
many jojo stands prolly could unless saitama isnt affected by them through being a meme
...
The gay nigga priest is pretty strong I give you that
No, Stands still deal physical damage they just bypass physical barriers. Saitama has way tougher organs and body in general than what most stands can do.
>the One Punch Man
>Asking for a friend
OP being a giant homosexual as always.
you got me fucced up if you think im reading all that
They use air conditioning, just like Superalloy Darkshine.
