>MC invents gunpowder
This retarded shit has got to stop.

>isekai
>protagonist uses video game logic

>isekai

Too deep for you?

>isekai
Eeeeh
>gender bender
Hmm maybe
>futa
Aaaaaw yeaaaah

Stay mad my nigga.

Touhou is the only good isekai with like 2 or 3 characters?

>complaining about gender bender
I think you need to leave.

>isekai
>protagonist's "skills" from his pervious life makes him a soon-to-be god king in the new world

>isekai
>level system
>cheat skill
>skill stealing
>overpowered protagonist
>slaves
>dense male lead
Ayy that really hits the spot.

>Isekai
>MC starts with a power level of 8,000,000+ while the strongest being in the world caps at 1000

>it turns out his power level is fake and his cheat skill is scaring the shit out of everybody with his fake stats

It's the best isekai simply because it says that most people isekai'd there ask raymoe to get them back home asap, and she does. Few stay, mostly those who have a reason to stay like Moriya shrine gals.

>get isekai'd
>invent nuclear fission
>build giant robot
Fucking Moriya, I swear.

>only a few of the 2hus got to join the isekai from PC-98 world to windows world

RIP in peace, Mima

Sounds lie you didn't have fun.

Sounds amazing man

>implying

I legit like this one. Lili is cute, and Kuti is Kuti.

>Isekai
>Slaves
>No slave rape

Just read it over two days. It's the slowest moving WN I've ever read, but it's cute.

Not every story can be balls to the wall power fantasy. Sometimes you just have to chill and read about a cute baby growing up.

...

I'm actually wondering if future chapters will actually follow daily life and relationships in school. Because that will actually be pretty interesting.
Isekai school life is always fun to read.

Now that I think on it, I can't think of one WN I'm reading that involves just going to school.

Just take a look at this pile of diabetes.

The power fantasy is at the edges of the story with the grandparents and maids.

Scary Obaa-sama is scary

>this
>a granny

>gender bender
Are you just talking about Youjo Senki or is there another one?

That's grandma? She's muuuuch younger looking than I thought.

She should have had a more confident/ less moeblob face and with her tied up hair.

>Tentacles

Dragoon is terrible and has none of these tropes. Still manages to top the ranking. I really don't know how this happens.

I want to write an isekai about a young adult who reincarnate as a 12y farm boy in a medieval fantasy with 3 major kingdoms, one of Human Wizards (Magicka style), another of a Vampire Lord and one of a Lich King
His OP power is perfect memory, after he reincarnates, his memories of earth delete everything about the 12y farm boy life, but now he can retain every informartion he aquire.

Dragoon truly is horrible, why the translators pick this shit, there has to be a lot more interesting stories out there, is it because they're so fucking easy to translate or what

Also, too bad im bad at writing

What do you guys think?

There's a fucking truckload of genderbender isekai.
The main page of the translation has illustrations for every character if you want to look it up.

I'd rather he go back to translating spess porn transporting shenanigans.

No swords?
I always liked magic more than swords, but mushoku tensei has shown me that fantasy sword play is cool as shit.

It's shit.

>There's a fucking truckload of genderbender isekai
Yeah and there's only like 2 or 3 decent futa ones. It's a tragedy.

>Isekai
>No video game logic, no stat screens, no bullshit cheating
>No incredible background, like some jack of all trades with crazy knowledge or a military expert
>Just a dude brought to an entirely unfamiliar world with only what he had at the time of death

Does such a thing exist? Youjo Senki is all I can think of, but it has bullshit like the MC being the chosen one (if being God's enemy counts).

>not relying on your trusty hammer and bident

only thing that comes to mind is mark and it hasnt been update for a year now

>still read everything involving isekai

Isekai is my guilty pleasure. Post rare isekais. No WN/LN.

Grimgar.

>>gender bender
Could do with more of those in the mix!

>There's a fucking truckload of genderbender isekai.

Seriously even when you think it's safe you get surprise genderbending like with the first .hack anime.

release that witch is pretty good, but it's chinese wn

gets 5 chapters a week, at 305ch
it's about mechanical engineer getting clocked to death and reincarnating into a prince

Well, the spell system in Magicka let me enchant the equipped sword

>No WN/LN
That's like 99.9% of all isekai.

Release that Witch is the pinnacle of "jack of all trades with crazy knowledge". A mechanical engineering background does not excuse the bullshit amounts of detailed multi-disciplinary technical knowledge MC knows.

>Isekai
>PTSD

My only problem with Release That Witch is that the witches he get is always useful, even the ones he didnt chosen

Them inventing anything has got to stop.

Knowing about something doesn't mean you can build it and I'm getting tired of Jap writers making these neets with zero actual skills know how to do shit like this.

Besides poisoning her whole family at the age of 2 due to them being Elizabeth Bathory tier assholes Eliza has fucking nothing abnormal about her, if anything her whole life has been >bad thing happens>tries to get over it>finally settles into a routine and attains a modicum of happiness>something goes horribly wrong>try to get over it>repeat.

>12 Beast
Ninja gets pulled into a world of Monstergirls
>Goblin is Very Strong
Isekai protag isn't the protagonist, and gets griefed by a cute goblin girl.
>Konjiki no Word Master
Dude gets pulled in with a group destined to be heroes, but doesn't care. Becomes a mercenary with a cheating spell. Lots of fluffy girls
>Nectar of Dharani
Loser gets forced into a world via summoning, becomes a raging monster when he sucks a princess' breast.
>Tensei Shitara Kendeshita
Dude becomes a sword, gains insane magical capabilities, and is wielded by a cute catgirl slave.

Best literal who series I can think of. They're all pretty wish fulfilling though, so don't take them seriously.

A guy who maxed out all crafting skills on his mmo character get's isekaid into the middle of nowhere. Thinking he is fine where he is, he decides to build a home, then some friends, then a village.

It's not that bad if the culture they're in is at the stage of alchemy/taoism where they have isolated elements and vaguely know that chemistry is a repeatable science and they can extract sulfur and saltpeter.

It's bullshit like them making guns that's autism-worthy. Even a simple spring is a bitch for most pre-industrial societies, and each is normally a custom one-off job that isn't easily repeatable (which also makes standardized measurements also similarly impossible), much less an entire trigger mechanism or a working flintlock.

Yeah, exactly this. I don't know why it gets so much praise, the MC has absolutely unbelievable amounts of knowledge about every single technological advancement that gets handwaved because he "studied civil engineering in college"

Shit Ive read all of them. Im beginning to think Ive seen almost all of them. Even videogame tropes would be fine, not necessarily isekai.

That's kind of the point I was making. Having read the ingredients (and mixing ratio which many authors tend to conveniently forget) of gunpowder on wikipedia or some shit does not mean you can successfully mix it without blowing your hands off.

Then there's the whole issue of weaponizing it because it's difficult enough to make cannons, but proper rifles would be even harder, but that's also something that's easily glossed over.

Drifters is probably the only isekai that handled gunpowder reasonably well.

>they use magic stones and a different powder mixture for a gun equivalent
>another person from Japan happens to be some de-aged mafia assassin who then kills golems with colt revolvers

I don't remember any truly "game"-related material from Mushoku Tensei, however the MC does have a cheat (by accident). It's vaguely balanced by him being the stereotypical glass cannon mage where it's nearly impossible to be that squishy in that world.
There ARE bullshit ranks for stuff, but it's mostly arbitrary (think martial arts belt colors signifying relative rank/skill) and easily ignored as they're de facto, not deus ex de jure "you leveled up" crap.

what's that?

It's a long-running chink thing so of course it will get shilled.

Like this bullshit.
Some isekai'd highschooler knows how to make a gun and communicate it to blacksmith to make.

It's meant to be a comfy story, but a lot of things are just dumb.

Akuyaku Tensei.
novelupdates.com/series/akuyaku-tensei-dakedo-doushite-kou-natta/

Cultivation
Saving Face

I liked it at first, but it goes Roland's way just waaaaay too often. As well, once he starts bringing out his chemistry knowledge, it sort of jumps the shark.

It is fucking impossible for a mechanical engineer to remember a textbook's worth of basic college-level chemistry unless they deal immensely with it at work (which I doubt, considering Roland didn't seem to be part of a pharmaceutical/chemical/research-academic workplace).

What is the absolute most blatant isekai series? Game stats, stat screens, inventory management, cheat skills, and so on. Something like Re: Monster, but with more bullshit.

Arifureta, i guess
It has everything

Anything Korean. They fucking love game reincarnation and stats that make no sense.

At the very least, considering the protagonist's perspective and the fact that the new people are ridiculous and exist in all sorts of ways that throw everything they knew into disarray, it could be construed almost as like a parody or deconstruction of the usual RPG isekai shit. Especially with the beast tamer delinquent who gets monster girls wanting his dick, while the nice healer guy laments that he's been totally ignored for any sort of attention.

And the girl that got isekai'd ahead of all of them in a completely different way is super stalkerishly obsessed with protag's cock and masturbates to his underwear behind everyone's backs.

I hate that so much. Just once I'd like to see a first-of-its-kind isekai gun explode from just a simple BP charge in someone's hands catastrophically (NOT like in Gun-Ota, which is the fucking example of isekai cheat-knowledge tripe where the MC is such an autist that he apparently memorized the exact contours and specs down to the headspace to make a fucking AK and 7.62x39 rounds).

So, where would I go about posting an isekai series? Can a filthy gaijin like me make it? I'm genuinely curious.

>Isekai with real life military involved.
>Reverse isekai.
>Gender bender.
I like it.
America should make American army vs Game of Thrones, the show.

>reincarnation
Yeah, people have to invend an another way to introduce real life tech in fantasy world.

>implying that the gun in the picture isn't a piece of trash.

You could have asked for the full pic

>Japanese military invades isekai land.
>Can not be defeated because technology.
>Everyone gets wives at the end of it.

GATE was garbage and anyone who likes it is a busta.

Reddit. Some guy is actually making money off his reincarnated as a magic academy story. He drew awful pictures and I didn't think he was gonna make it, but he kept at it.

>America should make American army vs Game of Thrones
So basically The Salvation War

I hated the skill/level-up system in Kumo Desu Ga (and it jumps the shark hard anyways in the later story, so it's not worth the effort to read).

Isekai Shihai no Skill Taker is the most shameless isekai manga that I've seen. It's almost like a parody of itself.

>GATE
>not G.I. Samurai

This

Gate is fucking garbage and the worst kind of 14 year old fanwank

Say that to my gun Roman and see what happens

Amazon. There's so much fucking amateur-hour tripe in the Kindle store of Western isekai and it expands daily.

thanks, I remember reading it last year when they were doing the other villainess translation

Anything with the 'skill stealing' tag is probably going to be pretty trash.

No kidding, should have build a shotgun style weapon instead of this garbage.

Get out of here Keagan, I know it's you.

just finish binge read the entire manga so far yesterday, totally love it so far but I dont like how Sylph has been totally forgotten ... I went to the wiki and indeterminately got spoiled since they dont have like spoilers tags yet or something like that so yeah, seems that If I bother with the LN ... it sure will be a bumpy ride,uh? There was a thread of the lastest chapter afew days ago here but I didnt bookmark it

What if skill stealing only works one at a time, and he can't use a forgotten skill until he steals it again? Like dropping a longsword for a dagger.

>Can not be defeated because technology.
Bureaucracy is their weakness.
If the empire could talk with EUA, the nukes would rain over Japan's head, except at the gate.

Fuck you Sam

Means to be for
