Actually she's pretty good most of the time. I really like how she's so determined while lacking on self-confidence. Generally characters that lack self-confidence tend to be passive. Akko's the opposite, which is kind of a twist in the usual formula.

I'm getting a little annoyed at the yuri overtones going on in the show so far. It was amusing during the Ball with the Bee when it was very clearly a joke, but the further the season has gone on it feels a little overbearing. Doesn't help that although Andrew's previous interactions with Akko didn't feel too forced, this episode just shoved him in just so he could say nothing and leave.

Hope the second part will redeem it. It was an alright episode, but all the sexual tension is annoying me more than it should.
