I have 2 better questions.

1.Why didn't Reiner help Annie, in all honesty they would have taken Eren had they worked together. They barely took down the Female titan using EVERYTHING they had.

2.Why the fuck did Annie,Reiner or Bert recognize that Eren had the same last name as Zeke?At the very least they should have taken him back for that.

There's no way the Marley wouldn't want Eren, if only because he MIGHT have the same power to control titans as zeke.

They did help each other during the mission by passing information, but they probably thought Annie would be able to handle the fighting on her own and didn't want to compromise all their identities just in case Eren wasn't the one they were looking for.

they didn't want to all blow their cover, they still had to find the coordinate, sure there was a possibility that Eren had the coordinate, but they couldn't be sure
