The end of Spread really killed those threads, even Lostorage had a hard time having threads for more than two days after its airing.

At this point the WIXOSS we knew and we loved was nothing but the joint efforts of literally the director sato, the cute design by sakai kyuta, studio pablo and, if any, okada, without them WIXOSS is just another anime.

Can we just agree Selector WIXOSS as a whole project was lucky to be made? It's very different and is something you don't expect from a TCG adaptation anime also the fact it had people with a reasonable record of known works done.

I warned you about the Okada. Although I really just wanted to say something in a Wixoss thread for the first time in a while since I'm not needed in the Tweeny Witches one.

Preordering it and then not reading it since it's long, in Japanese, and I'm lazy and busy.

To be fair I miss WIXOSS as much you do but my current self went to more western and Sup Forumsmrade stuff.

At this point I begin to think this whole project is a singularity in the vast ocean of japanese animation works, specially Infected. Is something is highly unlikely to reppeat again, but I am pleased to been a witness of it.

I mean, after Spread I still think it was a good idea to give the project to a new team. It was a failed experiment but I still think it was the right move in theory.

How do you explain all the foreshadowing that fell flat, then? Like "LRIGs have to go nappy time after they battle" which was just blatantly forgotten in the tournament arc. Or "There is a punishment for interfering in battles" which we never ended up learning about again. From a writing point of view it's completely obvious that the writer at least changed her mind about what direction the story was going after she had already begun writing it.

It's funny because I was just thinking about sleepy LRIGs. But consider this: the entire outline was written before the episode 1 script was. It was known that it would end in the tournament. So how do you justify your belief that it was dropped, and not just has an explanation you don't understand? Don't think you're better than the writer from your comfy armchair.

The reason is that if it did have an explanation, the characters would have noticed that their LRIGs seemed to no longer require rest after battles and would have wondered why that was. Then an answer could have either been provided or it could have been left a mystery, but at the very least the inconsistency would be acknowledged. Instead, not only was it no longer part of the "rules" of the batoruverse, but it wasn't something any of the Selectors seemed to take notice of.

The real problem was having boring and bland old hags instead of cute and interesting middle schoolers.

I expect Conflated explain:

What happened with Ruuko? She´s the new Wixoss gamemaster? Why dont remember sachi? Why tama exist in the real world?

Why Kiyoi is selector ? Iona and Akina still alive? Who is LRIG of Beginning?

Got the baseball promo/ Tama's new coin card (both foil/non foil versions) recently as well. And I plan on molding and making a few different versions of the GK. Tried posting a picture but 4chans having issues.

I haven't learned how to play, but I still found it enjoyable.
