Strength or Dex?

Strength or Dex?

Strength, obviously. Don't need to be totally accurate if the sword is as big as you.

Lck.

Chr

Vit

Dex.
Any misses cost you two press turns.

Aut.

Trick question, Guts has both

Charisma is literally the only attribute that matters. In most fiction, and especially in a shonen comic like Berserk, friendship is more important and powerful than anything else. Even in more grim or gamy settings, enough charisma means you have multiple loyal allies who each can potentially do anything any single character can. It's not even close.

Isn't dex always the answer? Literally no one swung a huge ass sword in human history. It was all about piercing motherfuckers.

Let me tell you something: DEX is the best stat ever, second only to COS.
With DEX, you can
-Attack your opponent
-Harm your opponent
-Get some nifty dodging bonus
-AND get a nifty bonus to saving rolls.

In fact, there's no reason why you shouldn't be maxing your DEX.

>DM decides you can't pick Leadership as a feat
Have fun kiddo.

Griffith did nothing wrong

lucky ted? is that you?

WORLD OF STR

>Berserker Armor Guts is basically a pre-patch ultra-greatsword Havelflipper
>Griffith had to become an endgame boss just to compete

Int
>not just nuking everything in a ten mile radius

He became evil to become a part of God Hand, and use their power to save the world. But he could only go through with a plan like that because he knew Guts would be there, and get super charged up by anger to kill the God Hand all off in revenge. So, he did a wrong thing in a very vicious way, to achieve something greater that couldn't have been done any other way.

Luck master race.

>not making a mage knight and being overpowered as fuck like in every single fantasy and rpg setting in existence

If anything griffith is the SPECIAL attribute up the ass.

Dex. Who strikes first strikes last, and isn't struck in return.

>it's a Sup Forums thread

he cucked his best friend for no reason

...

Deus vult mother fucker

>manlet
>still the most fearless animal on the planet

In what way is he saving the world?

At this point in the manga, Guts was just too overleveled for it to matter.

It seems to me that Mr Scorpion was full Str and Dex and Mr Tarantula rolled full Int on a class with no MP.

Magic.

that was not my chinese rapey cartoon

>It was all about piercing motherfuckers.
With a spear maybe. People stopped using swords to stab when armor became too hard. It was all about blunt force trauma.

>Confusing /tg/ for Sup Forums

>Dodge literally everything
>Crit literally every attack
>Also win the lottery

What's not to love?

He never wanted to save the world, his goal was always to become king, a ruler over the world. Griffith never had a benevolent side to him, everything he did was for his own goals. There were a few moments when he questioned the means he used to get to his goal (when the boy with the toy soldier in his army dies, when Guts leaves, during his dream sequence about the mountain of corpses he's built), but Griffith ultimately did everything solely for his own dream, not for some grand vision of saving humanity.

Spiderbro never had a chance.

Don't mind if I do.

Agi

sauce?

QUALILTY

>max out charisma and other social stats
>have the power to literally turn bonds and friendship into powers and weapons

bump

Go for an equal distribution of AGI and STR, then let your party leader spread his stats over CHARISMA as well for the party buffs to become effective.

After a certain point of STR has been reached, armor becomes obsolete and anyone and everyone will be killed instantly, making combat a matter of who lands a hit first. This is the point where AGI comes into play. You will need a much higher amount of AGI than your opponent to decrease your own skills' cooldowns while increasing your enemy's. If your enemy is of little AGI, then beating him will be a breeze.
You can't miss out on STR completely, however, or else you will be unable to break through the armor, unless you use an axe as your weapon which has armor-ignoring properties.

I hope that helped with your inquiry, see you on the servers!

guts has both tho

Strength

those swords griffith holds are so faggy.

Sorry but we're discussing only one RPG here

>Every other character is only one specific breed of their chosen inscect.
>MC is every single breed of Spider at the exact same time

those are sabres you classless fuck

and they largely replaced longswords in pretty much every western military force for a reason

INT master race. It's all about magic

Wis and make yourself CoDzilla
INT and make Batman
Cha and go full diplomancer

>not making a stealth archer

>Not maxing every stat and achieving godhood

>for a reason
You mean the decline of heavy armor due to advances in gunpowder-based weapons?
Something that is not apparent in the world of Berserk?

Because technology made full-plate obsolete and the only people still using swords were cavalry

luck + hollow

Full CON

I'd argue that Charisma is the most important out the 6 main D&D stats in real life too.

I'd say Con is the most important. You don't want to fail those saves.

Why roll for those saves when you have a party full of loyal members to make the rolls for you.

Outside of bullshit types:

Str+Dex is the best combination. CHR has little value in combat.

>implying Griffith is not CHA+DEX+INT

because if you do that long enough the DM will get tired of your bullshit and send something to smack your pitiful 8 CON ass.

of course. A leader must be charismatic. Not a flamboyant friend of all faggot but someone that can speak his/her way out and convince people from different backgrounds to work together. This was mentioned in the last chapter of Dungeon Meshi.

You won't be the strongest, fastest, most cunning, smartest or magical oriented person, but you can make all of them work as one.

Dex wins late game.

Luck is literally the only useful choice and you know it

Good stats:

- Strength
- Dexterity
- Agility
- Endurance
- Stamina
- Luck
- Intelligence

Dumb stats:

- Condition
- Perception
- Resilience
- Altertness

What about wisdom? I'd say it's not the most important for all classes but it's definite not good to dump because of will saves.

Strength IS Dex.

Not always.

this but also ADP for dodging

Do paladins dump dex?

Usually they dump INT. They use every single other stat.

LU

Aqua isn't a Paladin. Most Wizards/Healers have high INT because high level spells require not only intelligence/wisdom but also speed to cast their spells more effectively.

But best Wizards are punch-wizards.

>DEX
Not a nerd, what the hell does this even encompass?

skill with a weapon

Fapping technique

Paladin is a role rather than a stat-arrangement. They're typically just frontline bruisers that supplement weaker direct physical attack/defense with some form of faith-based support. There's a wide variety of ways they can be built depending on the universe and the things available.

No user, there is no DM favoritism stat.

No, but she is dumb.

What stats does her ass boost? END?

Everyone knows you need to put all of your points into DEF and CON.

bump

Full WIS and INT, fighting head on is foolish.

Int

>4th Edition

Any agi/dex based builds are worse than str+vit/int based by default. Higher HP pool > you.

>BLACKED
