Luffy vs Crocodile

will not be topped, will NEVER be topped in the series

>what is Luffy vs Rob Lucci

Definitely among the top shonen fights of all time
>The despair when Shishio deflects the Amakekru Ryuno Hirameki
>Suddenly VACUUM
>"Also!"
>"The battojutsu of Hiten Mitsurugi Ryu..."
>"... Are all based on two-step attacks!"

gears ruined the series my good man (cemented by haki)

hell no, gears didn't ruin the series

Gon vs pitou is probably the best anime fight I've ever seen, and probably my favorite anime scene of all time. The manga scene was good but the anime adapted it in the best way possible.
Also, if you've never seen hxh, please don't spoil yourself by watching this fight.

The GOAT

Luffy vs Usopp was better

that's not meruem vs netero
gon vs pitou isn't a fight, it is a rape

oh, so you're just dumb then, never mind

zoro vs kaku was awesome too

me get black so me stronger than u also i didnt eat a fruit but im stronger cuz muh willpower

also pic related

>literally a power only the rubber man can do is MEH PUNK STRONGAH
no

this thread is going slow so hopefully no one seriously tries to engage you

i'm saying that gears paved the way to haki

also lucci is shit compared to croc

there was haki as back as skypiea and that's undeniable, it was just called mantra

mah nigga

yeah finding a new gimmick to fight every new logia would have been so much better

the big OP threads are fun because dummies like you get laughed at relentlessly

definitely show up next thursday's thread for sure

...

...

Honestly I feel like Luffy vs Bellamy was the defining fight in One Piece.
Sometimes a fight only needs 1 punch to be the best in the series.

>being this wrong over the internet

...

I liked Chrollo vs Hisoka a lot but this fight was the apotheosis of HxH

Pic related or Goku vs Piccolo Jr

What the fuck is this source. It looks like ONE's art.

Let's face it, pretty much all of Ichi's fights were a one sided massacre. Kakihara's one true fight was both a bit more balanced and, most of all, completely delirious.

It's ONE

there was haki when shanks saved luffy in like the 5th chapter or w/e

Thanks. Realized what it was through file name. Makai no Ossan

i don't read timeskip OP you shitter :^)
stay dumb and simple you redditspacing mongrel

Gash vs Clear is the hypest shit ever.

>1 kick into a punch
>best fight

I was actually amazed by how good the fight was, given that at all time you know Saitama was absolutely on top.

Hands down

>Gash becomes a skeltal
>gets healed by Danni boi
desu I was kinda let down when Clear got introduced all of a sudden, thought it was going to be more of a battle royale type of end but holy shit was I wrong.
Shit was so cash

>liking boxer goku

I'd argue the fight against Zeon overall is better, the Golden Book is really the only truly exceptional part of that fight

Vegeta no Densetsu was the greatest thing ever

Yeah Zeon was a great fight, still golden book is the hypest IMO.

I'm a huge crocodile fan, I love his laugh, his power, how hes chaotic neutral.

But c'mon man. It really wasn't that good. BLOOD FISTS BEATS A FUCKING SANDMAN?

croc man back with screentime when

Wrong. The fight with date was much better. I was on the edge of my seat the whole time.

I would say this or Guy vs Madara.

>inb4 Rock Lee vs Gaara
>inb4 Kakashi vs Obito
>inb4 Pain vs Naruto
>inb4 Sasuke vs Itachi
>inb4 Minato vs Tobi
>inb4 any Nardo vs Sausage fight

>Not liking it
Goku giving it's ki blast a corkscrew effect was the hypest shit ever.

Part 1 Valley of the End Naruto vs Sasuke was top-tier desu.

Pic related is my personal favorite.

Guy vs Madara is too short and you already know it will not achieve to anything.

One of the best fights I've ever seen. Only Pride & Kimblee vs Alphonse and Ed & Everyone Else vs Pride came close to this masterpiece.

Bones did an even better job as well.

It was the emotional weight behind it that sold the fight. Gon had reached his event horizon and just said FUCK IT in every sense.

The legend

this one was great, pretty much made Jiraiya my favorite character.

croc was a greater villain but lucci fight was miles better my guy

this manga deserves no praise, but those first 150~ chapters do.

Gash Bell is just filled with hype shit, Won Lei vs Unko Tin Tin will always be the one stuck to me

forgive the potato quality

sauce

Tough to pick one desu. They are almost all excellent.
>Peco vs Kong (1st time)
>Smile vs Kong
>Sakuma vs Peco
>Dragon vs Peco
>Dragon vs Kong
>Smile vs Butterfly Joe
>Smile vs Peco

I'll go left field with this one and say Smile vs Sakuma. Simple, quick, and brutal.

>Why is it you? Why? I worked hard! Ten times... no, a hundred, a thousand times harder than you! So that Kazama would acknowledge me! So that I'd beat Peco! I thought of nothing but table tennis from morning til night! I've given my everything to table tennis! So why...

Yes

hownew.ru

Hands down.
70+ chapter build up, the conclusion arc to the only redeemable character in the series,
being honest I want Elfen Lied Ultimate just to see it animated.

Love Crocodile, dude has a dank design and had a great arc, but his fight was bullshit and it happened a bit too soon.

Lucci vs Luffy was the shit, hell Lucci's design WAS shit but his fight was fantastic and really felt like the only fight Luffy was absolutely desperate to win.

As usual OP is a wrong faggot

Young series so there aren't that many to choose from but god damn

Everything about it was perfect. Togoro's impossible, daunting strength, the clash of Togoro and Genkai's ideals, and Yusuke finally growing up a little and listening to everyone who cared about him. It was the golden standard of shounen battle.

And then chapter black happened.

I don't know why people are praising Luffy vs Lucci so much. It was definitely anime standard.
Villain: You will lose, I am stronger than you. My attack will kill you.
Hero: I must fight onward. For the sake of my friends, I must withstand his attacks.
Villain: Nani? M-masaka! He should be dead!
Then the hero punches harder and wins.
I am genuinely and honestly curious.

>Hero: I must fight onward. For the sake of my friends, I must withstand his attacks.

It was more of the sake of everyone and himself, if he dropped, they all die and everything was for nothing. It was something he absolutely had to do. Him fighting Crocodile the stakes were lower, even if he lost it still would've rained like a minute or two and everyone would've stopped fighting.

>Then the hero punches harder and wins.

He didn't punch harder he just punched more, same shit with Crocodile. It was already shown that a single Jet Bullet could hurt Lucci, so a fuck ton of them would do the trick, here he just kept punching and punching desperately in one direction as a last resort until he fell and was basically paralyzed.

One Piece doesn't have many top tier fights but with the writing around the entire saga, the stakes, and the shit Luffy and Lucci were pulling out made it a tense and great moment.

It was the only fight in the series where the villain was equal to Luffy in terms of strength.

...

yeah goddamn asspull, love it.

...

...

Loved how it still couldn't stop Shishio

last fight between sasuke vs naruto was honestly the best fight

This

Any Naruto fight that's revolves around nuke no jutsu and chakra mechas is shit.

Not even much of a a fight, honestly.

It was just Kotomine punching the shit out of a Shirou who was covered swords.

you all fags kys you pieces of shit

I wish, will you help me user?

This is how people in Macross make babies, not a fight.

gears saved the series fool. EL and the powerups it gave the M3 are what made me give OP a real shot

...

Fight fight best best.

The only good fight between them was the first one.

Agreed. Don't know why people call it a "fight". I like the scene, sure; and, it's certainly a defining moment of the novel, but it's only a fight in the broadest possible definition of the word.

Nah, user. It was pic related

>Dorian Kaioh uses hypnosis on Doppo
>It doesn't work because Doppo's knowledge of martial arts is so extensive, he had already predicted the entire fight subconsciously

Any fight with yuu and masaki

That whole part was a bit too surreal for my tastes. Not in the sense of "these moves are unrealistic", but more of a "how are there no consequences" thing. They got like 1,000 people to escort him there, and then they all just go home. And when Suedo just falls off the rollercoaster, nobody goes to help him or see if he's alive. And that random doctor follows Katsumi/Katou from the hospital without telling anybody what's going on, instead of calling the cops.

Dunno, it was just all too weird.

Almost nothing in Baki makes sense, though. The plot bends over backwards to allow zany fight situations (more than other shonen), and all real-life consequences are handwaved

One instant Oliva is walking down a corridor, sees a judo dojo inside the installation, Shibukawa is the sensei and the police chief already had a judo gi fit for Oliva because he "thought something like this would happen". Cue five chapters of "Oliva does judo"

...

Not a single mention of Kenshiro vs Raoh from Fist of the North Star yet?

It's one of the most iconic fights in anime.

Raoh VS Toki was better

Either way, it has to be mentioned in this thread. It's a no-brainer.

Only good part of Gash Bell was Folgore. I mean, come on, he has a song about groping women.

I think Luffy and Lucci's fight is actually overrated somewhat. Compared to the other fights during Tower of Law, there's much less interesting things happening, and their isn't a direct confrontation of Luffy and Lucci's ideals. The fight also suffers from having no clear endpoint, instead blurring into the sequence where the crew is rushed on the bridge, which is easily one of the weakest parts of Water 7.

I BELONG TO YOU
