Transhumanism

Is it really such a bad thing? Or just an excuse to make it easier for (((them))) to control the masses?

The human body and mind already have all the tools it needs ti evolve. Your brain is a quantum computer and you can program your DNA at will. Do not become a nigger dependent of easy technology

it's here already. You don't notice because of bad science fiction.

Same as any disruptive tech movement, it starts off with promises of better life and solving a lot of open ended problems, and ends up being just another tool for more efficient control and repression.

>what is time

Say we progress on "hacking" DNA (eliminating disease and undesirable traits, preventing aging, etc.) At what point do we become so efficient as humans that an inevitable extinction (either from man or nature) takes place?

When your body learns how to not rot until failure the entire duration of your life, then you may be onto something

And by definition, any procedure that can make your children perform better and make them more resistant to stress and depression can also make them more submissive, docile and easy to influence. Sure, the media industry already does a lot of these things, but directly altering the brain would make it much more efficient. Remember that the Ubermensch will be designed by private companies to serve private interests.

The problem is who gets to decide what traits are undesirable and to what extent. Have you noticed how much Google and Zucky were able to influence public life and the way people communicate? These people were able to change an entire generation of kids and teens simply to increase ad revenue. Not because of some overarching long con or conspiracy, but simply to get a click.

Consider who would design and manufacture the all the technology, then tell me if it's a bad thing.
