Nazism and Race

Can someone who understands this stuff please explain to me the nazi position on race. How did they determine someone's racial type, what were the racial types according to them, what are "hyperboreans" etc.

Protip, what we're told about how the Nazis viewed x or y or z has likely gone through 80 years of Jewish / Allied distortion to make them look ridiculous

I suggest reading Alfred Rosenberg's "Myth of the Twentieth Century" or the audiobook

First, race is the result of people uniting under common purpose, toward common destiny, forming a folk, achieving biogenetic distinctness through generations. Each race has its own character, its own culture, its own values that have been selected for.
Now, the term "Aryan" has the meaning "noble one," but it was often associated with Nordic Germanics in the NSDAP. The Germanic Nordic Aryan was considered the Platonic ideal of humankind. Not all Nordic Germanics match the racial type of an Aryan as not everyone matches the Platonic ideal, and some individuals outside of the Nordic Germanic countries shared Aryan values. Therefore there can be noble Jews or Celts or Slavs or Arabs or Persians etc etc, though the likelihood of finding such noble individuals would vary based on the group. The idea was that there was originally a race that achieved great power and built the solar civilization and socioculture, the original Aryan race, but that that group has been degenerating from mixing with members of other races who do not share the values of the Aryans, creating souls that are of mixed type. The point of the National Socialist racial program was to identify those traits which are Aryan, to select for them, and to select against competing traits, thereby purifying the Aryan race.
>How did they determine someone's racial type
By the individual's adherence to the ideal, very few would match the ideal Aryan, but some were closer than others.
>what were the racial types according to them
There were several types mentioned in the Myth, the primary ones were the Nordic Germanic Aryan and the Semitic racial souls, though there clearly are others.

The white race is about to disappear.

It's more complicated than just bringing the issue up and ethnic violence it's gonna become a crime sooner than you think and that never ends well.

>The white race is about to disappear
Says who, Noseberg?

no, those facial features

Gay porn goes on /hm/

what translation do you have? theres only one in English but its so oddly written, no bad or illegible but weird, is that a problem with the translation or Rosenberg's writing was like that?

also OP I suggest you read
its a bit hard but its a proper introduction to the racial views, if you want something more in depth I recommend:
>Essay on the inequality of human races by Arthur de Gobineau 1855
>The racial history of Europe by FK Gunther (he was incharge of Eugenics program in the third Reich)
>The Passing of the Great race by Madison Grant , 1916 (hanvet read this one yet, but Hitler called it "His bible")
>The foundations of the 19th century by Houston Stuart Chamberlain (Rosenberg held Chamberlain in high regard, and so did Hitler,-he even attended his funeral.)
The myth of the 20th century is a "sequel" to Chamberlains book as it were, or so I've read. (Haven't read this one yet either)

All of these books are in English, the PDF is for free on archive dot org.
Regarding the myth of the 20th century, there are two versions on archive (which are the sames that are sold on amazon). They are the exact same translation, only that one has a bigger font and thus has 471 pages (as well as a translators introduction, with the historical outline) and the other has 155 or so, with a smaller font. So just pick what you want!

It's the James Whisker translation, same as the one here: archive.org/details/TheMythOfThe20thCentury
It was the only one I could find as well. I don't speak German, so I don't know how well Rosenberg wrote.

Also I thought I should mention that "The Myth of the Twentieth Century" is banned in Germany, while books such as Mein Kampf are still sold there.

yup thats the one i have
I see, what do you think of the translation? Have you finished the book? Some parts i had to re-read many times because they are hard, certainly not an easy read, its my first time reading philosophy themed book also

...

but why is he still a necklet, and what is with that womanly waist?

>what do you think of the translation
Compared to other German authors I've read, it's more readable than Hegel, less readable than Schopenhauer.
>Have you finished the book?
I have finished the chapters that interested me, yes.
>Some parts i had to re-read many times because they are hard, certainly not an easy read
Sentences that are information dense might have to be read several times, it's not the easiest book to get through given the subject matter, but if you're passionate about understanding the racial aspect of national socialism you will want to understand their position on this. Persistence and the willingness to look up what you don't understand is key in reading any philosophical text.
>its my first time reading philosophy themed book also
should have started with the Greeks bro

yeah, i always write down most stuff i dont undrstand and then look it up, its the only way. Also given its not my first language i iccassionally run into words im not familiar with so yeah, i suppose that slows me down even more, but yeah i want to finish and dont regret getting it
