Ok. Now to answer CNN ratings come from gyms, hotels, waiting rooms, etc. Find the remote and chsnge the channel. Do this anytime you see it on. Change it to fox or fox affiliates. This kills their ratings.

Half comes from fees, half comes from ads. Assuming their ratings drop, say, 20% from people switching off CNN, their revenue would drop 'just' 10%, which is nothing to them considering they'd still have profits.
