I'm not. But the fact is the majority of people in jail in the US are in for violating the health and safety code(drugs), failure to pay child support, domestic abuse, petty theft, fraud, and sex crimes. Women commit these crimes at equal rates to men. They just are sentenced as harshly.

If you don't believe this go down to the local court house. If a woman turns up in court she usually isn't in custody. Bail is waived and the DA will usually drop all charges. Then you can see the dozen men there waiting for their case to come up in shackles . They are guilty for things like shift lifting being angry at their partners or selling meth. These are the same things the women are there for. The females just aren't punished .
