I've got a building behind me that has all those LED lights, so I get S7 noise around 4724. I threw a 1:1 current choke on the line and reduced the noise to S3-S5ish.

Look at your computer specs, see if anything is clocking around 5 MHz. Also, check your smart phone? You might have some small electronic device that is near your shield connector bleeding into your rig.

I feel you. Cable management is an absolute nightmare (trying not to drill through my hardwoods and plaster walls) and I'm trying to figure out the best way to ground the HF set up better than what I have now.
Yeah, I have to get my radials on my G5RV higher up. The center point is 40 feet up (fishing pole with a washer job to get it up there) but the end points are too close to house, making it impossible for my tuner to get a good SWR on 80/75 Meters.

i probably shouldnt have used that picture, just found it and was looking up a few other 'tennas i didnt know about. im interested to know any good info you want to share. recently my hd went bad, and i just got this thing running again so i grabbed one off the web. yeah, i have so many cables already. i have 5 right now, and so many in the works. i have a small hole in the side of my house due to a firearm malfunction, so i used a hole saw to make that a little bigger. i plan on putting PVC through that to make it look a bit nicer. ladderline im having trouble figuring out how to work with that. i used a wrist rocket and the same materials to get most of mine up there. i want to build a g5rv next, but it needs such a long feedpoint i havent figured out where to put it

I'm running a TS-590SG and I went to hook it to a panadapter (for a waterfall and scope) and the computer I had planned on using died in BIOS. I can't get the RTL-SDR, 590 and HDSDR to talk to each other on this machine and then all my USB ports are filled, so I'm looking for a new solution.
As for building a G5RV... I hate to be this guy, but look at the True Talk G5RV on Ebay; you can't build a G5 of that quality (coated stealth wire, perfectly cut 52' radials 31.7 feet ladder line, buriable RG-8U coax cut to the resistant 75 feet, waterproof connections, industrial crimps... a solid build) for the price.
I parted out the parts he uses on his build and it would cost about $220 at non-wholesale prices. He sells it for $100 and it's rated to 1500 Watts.
If you build, remember to use stranded wire, solid will break fast.

Windows 7 on this machine. I'm sure it's my virtual com port (sometimes Omni-Rig reads the 590, sometimes, not).
I'm going to build an Emcomm cut for quarter wave 60 Meters next (G5RVs don't like 60 and 30, fyi) and on a 9:1 Unun with an elevated counterpoise. Mounting is the issue I'm working on at the moment.

I really wanted a radio with a built in waterfall but when my buddy retired from his government job, he said he'd give me a good deal on one of his "Back Up set ups" he didn't need anymore.
A barely used 1 year old TS-590SG, Pyramid III 40 Amp power supply, an Avantone Mix Cube monitor (used is music studios -the Ham's secret Best Friend, best sound I have ever heard from a monitor), and MC-90 desk mic, data cable and some other stuff for only $500, I couldn't pass it up. Plus, the AT inside the SG is really good so no need for an external (except maybe for tuning 80 Meters).
I have a 40 foot tower sitting at my cabin waiting to be erected in Spring that I got for free when they tore the old police station down. Might do a 6 meter repeater on it and maybe rune a 160 loop to the trees and back.
