Fahrenheit is a better scale for weather. Celsius makes sense for everything else though

Fahrenheit is a better scale for weather. Celsius makes sense for everything else though

I believe there's like one or two other countries in the world that uses Fahrenheit. To lazy to google it though

Fahrenheit is better for anything needing more precision.

Amerimutt brains are too small under stand the metric system

orange=big dick
blue=peckerwood

What is this Fahrenheit? When does my egg boil? When does my egg freeze? When does it snow? When exactly is summer happening? When does the road freeze up?

>what are decimals

what's the other thing?

aussie kunts cant even convert different temps like every american can

>Fahrenheit is better for anything needing more precision.
27.3 degrees Celsius vs. Fahrenheit in the 80s

ok

I bet your brain struggles to convert between the two systems. Why the fuck would i even need to learn to convert to feet when metres are so clearly superior.

I spotted the retard guys! GUYS!

BAZED BELIZE

SAGE

>checks mercury thermometer
Clearly it is 24.86 Celsius.

>Fahrenheit

Why are you using a german invention americunts?

But amerimutts have tiny and mutilated peens according to science

Celsius is obviously better for science because the units work out, everyone knows that. But Fahrenheit is far better for communicating actual day-to-day temperatures. The first digit actually means something. In Celsius, the variation of the "tens-place" digit is maybe +-2, while for Fahrenheit, it can range across all digits and still provide meaningful information. People who don't grow up using it don't understand it.

I've used both. I grew up on the US system, had to learn SI in high school and college, and I used it a lot when I lived in Europe. For science, SI obviously works better (although I usually used Kelvin). But when I want to see the forecast, Fahrenheit is way easier to just glance at and quickly understand what the weather will be like.

You can have decimal points in Fahrenheit too.
Also consider this: a decimal in Fahrenheit actually carries more precision than in Celsius because the scale is narrower.

when will you foreigners learn that we literally don't care about you at all.

commentary on our elections?
don't care
you don't like guns?
don't care
muh concerns about inequality!
don't care
muh global warming, the world voted!
vetoed. fuck off. you don't matter.

>American thinks he can mock Celsius for using decimals
Can you hand me the 29/32" wrench?

Because it gives simpletons in other nations something to feel smug about. Have to keep you crayon eaters happy somehow.

>when will you foreigners learn that we literally don't care about you at all.
>commentary on our elections?
>don't care
>you don't like guns?
>don't care
>muh concerns about inequality!
>don't care
>muh global warming, the world voted!
>vetoed. fuck off. you don't matter.

never heard a chink tell me his thoughts on shit as if i'm automatically supposed to care.

we really should team up with the chinese and the russkies and wipe out all you whiny faggots

And it pisses you guys off so much it’s hilarious.
Hahhahaha

>Amerimutt brains are too small under stand the metric system
>metric is simpler and more intuitive
I fucking love how butthurt brainless are over their tard-friendly system

Will this .023 meter wrench suffice?

>Thinks decimals is what that means

...

>REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>Its Liberia and burma you fucking american. Why wont you adopt communism like everyone else

T
Every fucking time Fahrenheit is ever mentioned in a thread

How many decimeters in a meter? 10
How many kilograms in a ton? 1000
How many milliliters in a liter? 1000
>Thinking we use a simple system because we're dumb

>Will this 23mm wrench suffice?
Dumbass that's like saying you measure every weight in tons

>boil
212f
>freeze
32f
Not that hard

Well, no, it's not you fuckin retard.
When it's 0°C u know it's cold and water is frozen. 25°C is a nice and comfortable room temperature and 50°C is unbearable nigger tier heat.
At 100°C water boils and you can cook some eggs for massive gains.
A perfect metric scale.

Hurr 25,065°C isn't precise enough

We use wrenches from like 5-30mm for everyday stuff. Nice and even numbers.

>in any way superior to 0°C and 100°C
No.

Is it? Then what specific happens at 0 fahrenheit? What happens at 100 fahrenheit?

Who the fuck still uses non-digital thermometers?

I have simpathy for the americans, the other day a was messing with some schematics that were using imperial after some time of that I was like fak this...in some way its like learning another language, you dont feel fully integrated you are always "translating"... its gonna take time.

It's true. We aren't taught Imperial units at all. We only know they exist because it's on the back of some notebooks and diaries.
It's clearly an intentional part of the metrication plan to remove any working knowledge of those units at all. We learn Roman numerals for instance which are obviously far less useful.

Pretty useless to learn roman numerals, but once you know I=1 V=5 X=10 L=50 C=100 you're pretty much done

>body temperature
100f
>oh wait, even the guy who invented it fucked up and got it wrong
97f

All those countries in orange have been to the Moon.

It's fucking cold, and it's fucking hot.

All countries in orange also lost vietnam, are le 56% and have the best stock market in the world. What's in common between all this? Nothing

>30 degrees Fahrenheit
>0 degrees Celsius

>0 F
>cold

ayyy

>Fahrenheit is a better scale for weather
this
0F really fucking cold
100F really fucking hot

0C pretty cold
100C you're dead

>inb4 but how will i know when my water boils
look in the pot you cunts

Overcomplicated things are not smart.
Mutt

another triggered yuropoor

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

We're the only super power and have put men on the moon and have a GDP like a fifth of the world economy. So fuck you.

I like Americans for being different and not giving a fuck about European crybabies.

>play war thunder
>have my speed in miles per hour and my altitude in meters

Invented royal measurement standard, hates people who use it.

>0C pretty cold
>100C you're dead
Tfw I still walk around in t-shirt when its -10C
Tfw my favoriter temperature to have inside the sauna is 110C

>bitxh is not even nude
>she is just wrapping it around her bikini
Holy fuck how would you fat lards react to a truly sexual photo OP?

Most decimals are rounded or applied via another unit of measurement. Tollerance mearurements for heat for instance.

Once you get past a hundredth unless you are going to space, or calculating absolute values to close reaches, are pointless often times.

Great argument

Your faren rounds to 27 and you know it.

(((SI units)))
>Imperial
Can't we keep Fahrenheit for the cultural significance? Why are you shills so desperate to go all turbo-autism for a hyper-efficient temperature measurement standard? Implementing standardized Celsius would be more trouble than it's worth, and people just won't be arsed to bother learning it since it's not worth their time for the miniscule payoff.

Seriously.. who gives a fuck.. i can't believe I had the energy to give a fuck to post this.. they are all arbitrary scales

Hundredth of a degree, now you are being a fartidious cunt.

Fixed it for you,sir.

Hint, many german immigrants went where?

Evidence? Canacuck.

For my gook mobile

No because the other wrench fits the bolt perfectly while yours rounds the fucken corners off.

0 Fahrenheit is the point at which a brine solution of ice and salt will always equalize, making it ideal for calibrating the base line for thermometers.

They then wanted the freezing and body temperature (which was 96 before it was later refined) to be 64 degrees apart as it meant you could simply mark half way lines 6 times to mark instruments.

later it was changed so that freezing and boiling where exactly 180 degrees apart, which is the version we have now.

basically it comes down to convenience when creating the instruments and still has rounded, divisible numbers even if they are not necessarily decimal.

How is this even pol?

Only while wearing this can you understand America.

>My numbers that measure temperature just as accurately as your numbers are better.

>American education

>Kangaroo education

>I have to compare my country to the US via every possible metric, because I feel bad.

SAGED AND REPORTED

Why did they use a map that shows the countries that won WW2 in Orange?

Pretty embarrassing to have the same flag

Why do your deluded mind imagine fahrenheit is better for weather?

So far the only arguments are redneck tier ones like this one it is literally the same argument used for all non metric measurments

Lots of metric units are less intuitive. For example when measuring torque a newton-meter is harder to picture than a pound-footbecaise laymen tend to misuse mass units as weight in everyday metric life. Also there isn't 10 joules per calorie and factor of ten conversion is shitty for quick fractions

That's because you grew up with it. I can glance on the forecast in Celsius and immediately know what the weather will be like.
It's the same with feet and meters. I know how much a foot is, but if you tell me something is 10 feet away from me, I'll think something like "so a bit over 3 meters", and only then have an idea what you're talking about.

You cared so little you just had to chime in and let us know how little you care. I am impressed by how much importance you attach to us knowing of your complete indifference. Well done.

How many Jews were responsible for Imperial?
Now how many Jews were responsible for Metric?

How many delusional fucktards believe in a Jew conspiracy

How many levels of Fairy Bread are you on right now, pal?

I think the guy who invented it based 100f on average body temperature of a cow

>Tfw I still walk around in t-shirt when its -10C
>Tfw my favoriter temperature to have inside the sauna is 110C
Alpha as fuck, senpai

>The US is the only first world country
Unless of course we're talking about health care, or wealth, or education etc.

Conformist cunts.

pic related

The bulk of your navy was sunk by ww1 tier bi-planes while in a fortified harbor. Beretta maybe the world's oldest firearms manufacturer, but since most of their products mirror north African nigger quality, no respectable nation adopts them.

Nice job, dumbfuck.

>Africa is blue
hmmm

All those countries in orange conquered your nation.

>But muh dick

It was the only 9mm that met criteria laid out to confirm to you metric monkeys instead of the 1911 or mk23, and is being replaced with Sig. Now let's talk about those Styer abominations you emu fuckers use. "Its as good as the L85", stop sucking the crowns cock. Bullpup rifles are needlessly complex by nature, and your "modified trigger system" is still way too long a pull for precision distance shots. Aside from Crocodile Dundee, you have contributed fuck and all to western culture. As they say in Sydney, Allah ackbar.

When is the rest of the world going to get on the level of the US.

Celsius is objectively an attempt by neoimperial rationalists to impose order on society by fiat. It is one of the many remaining vestiges of the bloody and useless French Revolution that remains to be replaced by something just.

You poor, dumb, stupid fuckhead.
You kick a fucking own-goal in spectacular style and get called out within seconds. What do you do? That's right, you sperg out and start criticising something completely different in a desperate attempt to throw the attention away from your own idiocy.
Look, because you've given me two good laughs tonight, I'll leave you with some good advice:
1. Lurk moar.
2. Never double down on stupid.

Exponents in your time format?!?!?
>but muh metric is so simple and based on 10s.

Imperial measures are better for everyday use and common activities

Metric is good for science

What’s the problem

Gallons > liters

Feeet/inches > centimeters/meters

Miles > kilometers

Lbs > kilos

It’s just more intuitive for small everyday users

Awfully pissy aren't we? Run out of vegimite or did you miss the call to prayer?

Funny that the same map can depict which countries have gotten to the moon and not.
