Supreme executive, legislative, and executive power lies in the hands of one unelected person, who gets to hand pick their successor, with only two limitations they cannot alter:
- They must serve one (1) term only, and after that they are disqualified for life - AFTER their one (1) term is up, THEN the people vote on them in a simple yes/no referendum. If the people vote yes, the former dictator resigns to live the rest of their life with a large pension, prestige, and historical importance. If the people vote no, the former dictator and their family are publicly hung drawn and quartered to satiate the people's bloodlust and prevent revolt.

That's actually how its supposed to be. It's an old greek title. In times of need the greek democracies and city states gave power to one man as dictator. Usually for a set amount of time or until the crisis was resolved.
The danger was that some dictators declared themselfes dictators for life. Like Ceasar who became tribune for life.
