I think that the correct course of action is actually a better understanding of economics. On an individual level, this is amazing. However, the way taxes work, the amount of cash that the government is going to need to borrow from the fed is going to rise dramatically. Congress will always vote to increase its borrowing cap. What would help dramatically is reducing the level of military spending in the DOD (leaving the NAVY alone), passing a budget that took that excess cash and for several years applies billions of dollars toward infrastructure maintenance and at the end of the infrastructure campaign, gradually reduce government spending on worthless programs and bureaucratic inefficiencies.
