Guess what, Trump played himself. He will lose the rural votes next time.
>While President Donald Trump relentlessly claims credit for the strengthening economy, the nation's economic growth is being driven overwhelmingly by the places that are most resistant to him.
>Counties that voted for Hillary Clinton against Trump in 2016 accounted for nearly three-fourths of the nation's increased economic output and almost two-thirds of its new jobs in the years leading up to his election, according to previously unpublished findings provided to CNN by the Metropolitan Policy Program at the Brookings Institution.
>That imbalance looks even starker when considering that Clinton won less than one-sixth of the nation's counties. Trump carried more counties than any candidate in either party since Ronald Reagan in 1984.
Are you really retarded enough to think this won't flip a shitload of blues? The article doesnt explain why the gains arent a credit to Trump. Pro tip: it can't be done.

>higher population areas grow faster than lower population areas
This is why people hate you Hans
Samuel Hernandez
cnn as source has to be a joke lol
Wyatt Wood
No. He promised new jobs and economic growth for poor areas. Never happened. Rust belt is still fucked.

That's not how it works tho.

If you think the rust belt will go back to the dems you are mistaken. Democrats stopped being the working class party a while ago, especially for whites.

Doesen' matter how much you want it to be, OP, but sucking cocks and painting fingernails are not real jobs

Trump has to do two things to win in 2020 - start a war that goes well, and keep the Obama Recovery rolling. If employment holds, and the stock market doesn't correct hard, and if the war he starts goes well - he can definitely win in '20.

It's almost like you're saying if one place has more people in it than another place and everyone in both places spends a dollar that the place with the most people will spend more than the place with less people. Wow you're good at simple fucking math.
This is why you liberals lost the election. You don't even attempt to look at what a chart like that actually means. Of course Los Angeles county in California will put more money into the economy than say Arapahoe County in Colorado which has about a sixteenth of it's population.
Liam Walker
Forgot to add this:
It's even worse where your chart lists Lafayette Parish which has 240k population as opposed to LA which has almost 4 million people in it. So yeah fuck you for not having half a brain to understand how stupid you just looked.
Luis Rodriguez
This is such Bullshit. I live in Alleghany County Pennsylvania. The cunt won here but it was because of the College Students and inner city scum on Welfare in Pittsburgh. The Suburbs where all the normal people live all vote Republican
Joseph Nelson
With the exception of the stock market rising at a slightly faster rate due to investor excitement over the corporate tax cuts everything in our economy is on more or less the same trajectory as it was before the election. If we really want to split hairs job growth has slowed a little bit. This is all based on the govt’s. own numbers.
Justin Walker
Due to how the electoral college works, increased support for dems in places that are already perpetually blue doesn't have any effect.
Christopher Hernandez
That doesn't make sense you retard, it doesn't matter whether they voted for him or not, if you lower taxes and that increases economic activity then you have caused the economy to improve
Alexander Thomas
Only Trumptards actually believe it’s fake news. Do they have a bias? Yes they do, but find me one story that they outright fabricated, and I’ll show you ten by Fox or Breitbart.

Republicans aren’t any better, they promise the moon, then for some reason all their policies turn out to be shitty for anyone with a net worth under a few million.

Politics in the USA is just as fucked as every other country in the world...who would have guessed?
Time to bring back decentralized tribal rule

it's almost like where there's more people there's more jobs... stupid kraut thinks you need to open factories in counties with 3000 people living in them

>California drives the economy >still can't afford single payer healthcare
this really rustles your narrative
Ethan Flores
Is globalism shifting the manufacturing from the US to imports driving the coastal cities to have these gains? Are the imports somehow counted as GDP? (I realize they shouldn't be) Are port fees and labor in it? Does this drive port cities to push for more globalism?
Asher Campbell
Its it Obama economy dipshit and yes he as left the rust belt and rural areas in shit
Lets see what trump will do
Landon Cox
>for anyone with a net worth under a few million So its good for driving small business and wealth?

>large metropolitan areas are experiencing more favorable qualifiers of a strong economy
Color me fucking shocked. It’s as if they were already set up for job growth. Surely supporting a large population was simply magic before, right?
Someone got paid to write that. What’s their next article? Houses near fault lines are more prone to earthquakes?
Henry Howard
Why not? Is it because you say so meme flag? Is it because that screws up your forces narrative? Kill yourself and your children.

It's almost like democratic policies were impeding their progress and releasing those systems of controls allowed them to massively increase. 3m->4m is way higher than 100k->200k so you can right this as both increased signifcally, or write it as "bubbles 1m is bigger than 100k XD"
Blake James

Please try to come up with a more coherent argument.
The data you presented clearly supports why they voted for Trump. You need more recent data that is germane to the point you're trying to prove.
We really deserve a better quality of shills.

I will never understand the leftist mindset that improving quality of life is not worth it if someone else is improving quality of life more than you.
Connor Bell
They really don't care about improving, see every inner city in the US. As long as the votes come in they let things stagnate.
Dylan Rivera
Also big job creators in the 2010-2016 period listed are tech companies, especially larger ones like Amazon and Google, who tend to focus more labor in California and Washington than any red state. Not to mention the slowdown of movement in the industrial sector; factories and plants (mostly in blue-collar, red states) make few new jobs, and, if anything, lose jobs due to automation. Also, since white-collar and tech jobs are the only ones not being unloaded offshore during Obama's terms, there would most definitely be exponentially higher growth in those sectors. Also, not to mention that the new jobs are being filled with fresh-faced college kids, who would never even consider supporting red, much less Trump. The logic is there, don't try to misconstrue it.
