Sup Forums encapsulates the idea of the free marketplace of ideas better than any other website in existence. Things people find interesting, amusing or agree with rise to the top naturally, and poor quality shit is discarded or shitposted to death.
Discovered Sup Forums from the Habbo raids in 06/07, discovered Enyclopedia Dramatica, lurked for a year or so.

Randomly in 2012 when I was searching pony stuff, stumbled on to one of /mlp/'s streams and started to lurk that board, then I moved to Sup Forums when they hijacked one of the streams and started posted doompauls in 2013
