So the NFL has rejected a bid from the largest veterands group in the US to place and ad that encourages the people to stand for the national anthem. Part of the add used the hashtag #PleaseStand , an extremely polite request that encourages everyone to just stand up in honor of all men and women who have made the ultimate sacrifice defending our nation.
This is unacceptable and I came up with a plan to create a new hashtag #SuperBowlShutDown as a play on words of the recent #ShumerShutDown hashtag. We need to come up with some good images and spread this hashtag so that as many people hear this info and decide to turn off the super bowl so that they will have the worse ratings ever. They need to pay the price for there un-patriotic actions.
