Was he in the right?

was he in the right?

Naturally.

I would say that even in death people aren't equal.

But that's not true

So someone who is remembered fondly and someone who is forgotten or cursed are equal in death?

yes

Yea because at the end of the day, the loved one isn't anymore alive than the hated one

Obviously. It doesn't matter to the dead person. Maybe it would've mattered to him when he was alive, but what mattered to him in life also doesn't matter.

that's edgy as fuck

So people in a coma would also be equal?

To what? Dead people? No.

No because they are literally alive

A dead person doesn't have a small chance of coming back after awhile

someone in a coma is more likely than not to recover

Death is not the great equalizer.
The reason why death makes us cry is what makes us all equal.

>death makes us cry
Doesn't make everyone cry. Not equal.

Yes.

>Doesn't make everyone cry.
Incorrect.
That's a false statement without understanding what "death" actually implies nor what "crying" means in the context of death.
Death, the end of things, does make everyone cry; makes everyone sad. The "death" of happiness is unhappiness, after all.

>words don't mean what they mean

Please kill yourself and your pseudo-philosophical mumbo jumbo.

why did this anime have such horrid pacing?

it would easily be a 10/10 if it weren't for the fact that the middle of the series is a slugfest

??
If you're confused, then try to understand and ask honest questions.
It appear pseudo-whatever to you because you don't try to understand what people try to say.
Hatred with apathy leads to ignorance, and all you'll do is wallow in ignorance as you stagnate.
Please do not disregard people.

alright then explain what crying means

it follows the manga quite faithfully in this respect

Yep, basically.

Johan is a good guy in this regard, he just wanted to make everyone equal. Truly a good man who did nothing wrong.

But the manga is easier to digest, you just read it at your own pace, the anime has to follow a strict 24 min time and it uses that time really badly, there's a stupid amount of episodes where absolutely nothing of importance happens

>never does

yeah that's what I thought. another pretentious art school retard who manages to talk a lot without ever saying anything.

It's not as edgy in context because he is Lucifer's son-tier evil. Just being in his proximity and not dying is him being kind.

Humans are equal in death? well sure we all die, but we are still not equal in dying.

him being evil is edgy

People can be unhappy and not cry

You say slugfest, I say comfy

>we are still not equal in dying.
He never said that
He only said that when we die we're all equal since you know...we don't really exist anymore

He seized the means of equality

WANN GLAUBEN SIE, DASS LEUTE STERBEN? WENN SIE MIT DER KUGEL EINER PISTOLE DURCH DAS HERZ GESCHOSSEN WERDEN? NEIN. WENN SIE VON EINER UNHEILBAREN KRANKHEIT VERWÜSTET WERDEN? NEIN. WENN SIE EINE GIFTIGE PILZSUPPE TRINKEN!? NEIN! SIE STERBEN… WENN SIE VERGESSEN WERDEN.
