there are two possible outcomes, both good:
1. The authors will do the right thing and correct their articles (or at the very least delete them).
2. The authors will no longer be able to claim ignorance of the misrepresentation in their articles. Now there is proof that they are deliberately, consciously slandering the campaign. This proof might be of interest to other media outlets.
