When sexual abuse happens, it's difficult to bring it up with anyone, especially those closest to you. It's something you have to hide out of shame and because you don't want to upset anyone. The #metoo campaign has given people the sense that they are allowed to just casually bring it up, which is really what the victims need. They don't want to be alone with it anymore. There is literally nothing wrong with this.

If the abuse really took place, then why should the guilty go consequence-free just because they're rich and/or famous? Why is this upsetting so many?
