The band is pretty lefty but my new favorite record is called "Beggars Can Be Choosers", by the Newtown Neurotics. Very high energy British punk circa 1983. The songs on this album are mostly just encouraging being a good person.

Ramones songs are simple straightforward beats, but they always made one clever choice in the song structure to give it some flair. The lyrics and how tight they were as a band puts them above some bland studio creation like we saw through the 80s and 90s such as Fastball or that ilk.
If you ever played the drums, guitar, or sang, you would know how fun those songs are, and that doing them well is different than just doing them. Those tribute concerts show that even professional bands have a hard time doing them well
The chord progressions are simple, but Johnny uses full barre chords, so his parts are actually difficult to play, especially considering the speed. He's an underrated rhythm guitar player.
