Yeah, it's great. The first half is slow paced and leans more on the atmosphere and mystery which might scare you off, but after several "oh shit" moments it gets pretty intense.

Shiki is the perfect example of a show where the buildup is slow and gradual but that makes it perfect for the crazy climax it sets up at the end.
