Trump would have to build multiple miles of wall every day to finish by the next election, if he started construction right now.
it is not possible

not if he outsources construction work to Poles
he could have it by end of June with minimal costs

Poles in the Sonoran Desert nice meme. I live within a 100 miles of the border and I'm fleeing somewhere cold.

they dont seem tall enough

True, I can attest for this, the cunts wont even stop for a tea break

Pannel walls need 2 miles per day. Manufacturing is the hard part standing is simple.

>Manufacturing is the hard part standing is simple.
the border has every kind of terrain you could imagine. it will go slowly. miles will take weeks

It's certainly good they're not 10 feet lower.

>You can only build in one place at a time

It is a desert.. beaners tunnel with wooden shovels. It is not as hard as most leftist think.

do you really think they would construct the wall in a straight line using one team? They would use multiple teams in multiple areas and connect them all together as they go.

Drive post into sand 20 ft down every 1 ft. Build upper forms and pour. Electrify with cross grid wires every 1 ft up 10,000 volt.

they tried that with George W. Bush's fence.
why didn't it work then?

...

Should have voted for Hilldawg

The Trump administration has revealed its master plan for securing the border -- and it's going to cost $33 billion.

Of that total, $18 billion will be required for President Donald Trump's long-promised border wall, according to Customs and Border Protection documents obtained by CNN that were sent to lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

The remaining $15 billion would cover technology, personnel and readiness, the document says.
Titled "Critical CBP Requirements to Improve Border Security," the document says CBP has identified what a 2,026-mile border wall system would entail --comprising about 864 miles of new wall and about 1,163 miles of replacement or secondary wall -- even as administration officials and their allies insist they are not pursuing a wall "from sea to shining sea," as Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen and her predecessor John Kelly have testified to Congress.

The document says the $18 billion investment will cover 722 miles of border wall -- about 316 new miles of primary structure and about 407 miles of replacement and secondary wall.

The administration does not envision the investment happening all at once, laying out the investment costs over 10 years, breaking down the totals desired per year. The fiscal year 2018 request would have 60 miles of primary wall and 14 miles of secondary wall to the tune of $1.6 billion, for example, and FY19 would cover 65 miles for another $1.6 billion. The numbers increase in subsequent years.

give me a case of cold beer and watch this

meanwhile

a wall is like a game obstacle to those invadores. just use snipers, it should be fear that prevents them from reaching america, not anger.

Dammit if Jurassic
park can hold dinos, we can keep out beaners with wire, electricity, and bullets.
AMEN

Insufficient funding.

Why not create a minefield with all that money?

the wall is even more expensive.
sure Mexico will pay for it but nobody knows how

if the nazis could gas thousands of jews a day and burn their corpses, i think we can handle building a wall.

mexicans are tiny.

Those look like ass. why not build a a giant wall out of stone

But they didn't do that.

same my dude
I'm going to new Hampshire fuck this hot desert

you're not even getting that kind of wall.
you're getting this tall fence

>modern architecture

>finish
Why would he finish the wall? He needs it to be incomplete, so he can lie about building it for the reelection.
Americans get what they deserve, and I mean that without any hate. This reminder of democracy's flaws is necessary, its like a purge of the collective mindset of the American people. In a way its good that it happened at a time when the USA is the single power in the world, so that other foreign agents can't make much use of it.

...

yeah because tea is for pussies

This is necessary to make sure at least some animals will continue living as they have.
Still a lot of migratory and breeding routes will be blocked of if this were for some reason to be built.

blocking off migratory and breeding routes is the point

We can figure that out with a wall that doesn't look like it was constructed out of rusty dumpsters

the wall was promised to blend in with surroundings
>bright silver
you can't have your fence-wall and keep the aesthetic
look at the design cuts everywhere and the project hasn't even started

The lower part having holes for small animals to move through is a requested feature.
The top being cylindrical to prevent climbing is a necessary feature.
And the two cheap and rust resistant covers for the metal are metallic and brown colored, check a bulk hardware shop.

Implying he won't be targeting high priority sections. Implying he won't be filling the gaps strategically. The question of peak efficiency of wall building is interesting as fuck. Tard.

>a wall that doesn't look like it was constructed out of rusty dumpsters
it's not much better than what you have right now.
keep your helicopter landing pad fence when the wall never gets done

We should just employ massive amounts of border troops and order them to shoot anyone trying to cross the border

they'll probably stop coming over at that point

You should just do the cheaper, simpler, and less prestige ruining option of paying the mexican government to beat up and arrest people moving north.
Obama did it, and immigration dropped rapidly in his late period.

Throw rope over. Grab hanging end through bars. Julio holds other end. Me and Juan take my end and run. Julio climbs/gets pulled over. Repeat with Julio pulling on vertically hanging rope to help. They pull me over from other side.

Very very bad design.

:')

>broken legs from fall

barbed metal is the only way to prevent that.
too bad you aren't allowed to use a design that scares the public

>the wall is even more expensive.
And we have much more money
>sure Mexico will pay for it but nobody knows how
Tariffs or taxation on remission. Easy.

just make it taller until you'd probably die from the fall

Why would i pay a foreign government and drain money out of my economy when i could employ my own citizens to do it?

What I gather from this exchange is that only the most cutthroat and ruthless of border hoppers will eventually be able to get in to the U.S., making being an illegal inside this country an incredibly dangerous person who will be shot on sight.

You can use the same rope to descent, no reason to fall.
Walls in empty space are just bad design, you need people manning the walls. This has always been the case. Walls are force multipliers, not actual defenses.

Longer rope solves that. Also, just tying both ends of the rope to the bars with a bunch of slack for the top.

Because it is many times cheaper and doesn't ruin your diplomatic standing?

He's right about first guy over unless the rope is long and secured

all of this is possible because they chose that cylinder over barbed metal.
>the absolute incompetence of this project

No Shit, it's projected to be a 10 year job.

Well I guess there won't be any DACA.... :)

The biggest boon is that the women can't easily cross, especially pregnant women, so no anchor babies

>Cheaper

I'm more concerned with integrity and getting unemployment to 0

>diplomatic standing

I'm fucking trembling in my boots. What would we ever do if Mexico tried to invade us?

Actually now that you mention it, let them invade so we have an excuse to annex more land.

Hook a couple generators up to it so that anyone who touches it will be fried.

You throw a rope over, with something heavy on that side.
You let it fall, reach through the bars, and grab it to tie/secure in the bars.
Now you have a length of rope going up, and a length of rope going down.
Its super simple stuff, I don't know what is it you don't get.

Pregnant women is about all it would stop. I have climbed with a enough weight on my back to simulate carrying a person, its not that hard in such a small scale.

wall design failure

What are physics? You'd need a weight that can support your own weight without lifting off the ground to climb that or else you have just built a simple crane

>installing razor on top of your transcontinental wall
Good job doubling its price. Now they have to throw a blanket before the rope.

>this user don't know shit about prefab constructions
nigger, you can build a 2f house with a basement in 90 min these days with prefab

What is tying a fucking know you fucking moron. Just tie it to the bars. Just pull it to your side and have people step on it. Fuck, with some extra length you can tie it to your car and make an elevator.

what a blackpill

Because only fags drink tea

Your picture shows no tying and how are you going to tie it if you cant even reach it?

So what? He can finish it under his second term

You really think most people can climb rope? In high school and shit they made us do it. Maybe 5% chicks could do it and maybe 70% of guys.

I want to add, your rock would need to be about 250lbs and tossed over 20 foot wall? You'd need a crane or catapult to do that.

You are completely out of the loop if you think it will be solid.
It is already accepted it will be bars supporting a solid slap at the top, so small animals can continue migrating, and to save money from the construction material. Also helps patrols see through.

American as fuck. Look at your wall
You can reach through and grab the rope, you don't need a rock to support anything. Its just for ease of throwing.

What he said. "Don't let the wall fall! Trump 2020!"

Stop memeflagging so i can properly ridicule you.
Rope climbing is regular part of physical ed. here. Not counting the extra fatties everyone can do it.

now we have to build even more.
expect delays on your fences

nah, only fags use a microwave to heat water you fucking colonials.
You could buy a kettle for less than $10.

>rapidly constructable
>uses materials already in stock
>works
>cheap
>difficult/time consuming to circumvent

This guys on it.

>We have a backup plan, folks. We are, like, smart people, smart people. We will build a second wall *cheering intensifies* a second beautiful wall. It is not possible, and congress have assured me of this, nice people at congress, very nice people, no way that anyone can climb two walls in a row. No way. America will be great again.

How much can you climb yourself?

I've never tried, but I suck at pull ups (so I doubt I'd do well) and am training because I think men need to be able to do this shit.

If you can do one pull up, you probably can climb a rope.

Maybe this is what he hopes gets him the second term? Getting the wall started.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to have drones flying 24/7 and gun down any moving target?

Wall doesn't need to be 100% secure although i would have one with ramparts and shit it just needs to be a giant visual fuck from the white man to all the shitskins living south of the wall.

Also, people talking about throwing a rope over are missing a point that's been a part of modern barriers for a while.
You throw a rope over and jump down and sensors go off, then people in a car arrive to see what it is.

Jails have been using a similar system for a while, there is also a version for those who are digging underground.
Pic related is a similar setup.

This is literally the only solution to border control. Also a couple of super AI turrets wouldn't be bad. Less back-breaking work too.

8 YEARS
2 TERMS
2 SCOOPS
2 GENDERS

we can fix this the same way Louisiana deals with the nutria problem. have the government pay $200 per "tail".

>only fags use a microwave to heat water
do some fags actually do this? that's the most autistic thing i've ever read

You are missing the part where this isn't a military base, its a wall across the fucking continent.
Unless you want the Mexican border to be the largest employer in the USA, and to be a noticeable part of all yearly spending, and the USA's main produce to be "keeping the desert safe", you may want to reconsider.

Some Commando teams have been testing the designs. They failed on all of them apparently.

Something is off in your calculations.

>not having pic related as the wall

You're exaggerating the issue to inflate your own concerns and sense of knowledge on the subject and feeling of impact to your jokes.

It's really not that big of a deal and can be accomplished with staff already on the books.
I'm not sure how many times you're going to have to read things about the wall not being along the entire border due to natural barriers, or it not having to stop 100% of people to still be effective before you understand the concept.

Climbing rope is a lot easier than pull ups. You use your legs to push yourself up, not just your hands to pull.

Our teacher required us to climb the rope 2 times in a row. It was maybe ~5-7 meter high? Not sure, it was hung from the roof of the gymnasium. Something like this

Doesn't matter if the wall is built, we, the cousins of the beaners will use your flying contraptions called as aeroplanes to immigrate into your country.

I think 10 miles a day is very doable. 50,000 working on the great Wall

I wish that they went with the fence made out of solar panels. Not only would it electrically fry or burn from being out in the sun any illegals who got near it but it would supply cheap power to local towns who would make damn well sure that their free electricity fence stays operational.

>well it wont be a wall, it will be a fence
>well it won't be across the whole border, just some
>well it won't stop all traffic, just key points
>sure we have to pay for it, who else will

And then you turn around and BUILD WALL MEXICO PAY FOR IT STOP ALL MEXICANS WHITE ARYAN ETHNO STATE, etc etc

if we built anything that complicated it would be a rusty mess in a decade
