Compressing 2 years of standard production down into 6 months and then having to hire an inexperienced and untalented director who can't keep the writers bad habits in check because the original director was unavailable to return on such short notice.

And then Rals VA got sick so they had to quickly fill the role with whoever was available.

I wouldn't knock Fighters, compared to those other series like AGE, Orphan & Reco. Fighters has a stronger and more memorable cast of characters, especially MILF, disputably the no.1 in anime, or easily 2nd to Akiko Minase.

If nothing else it at least had some good porn.

For all its faults, the one saving grace of Try is it didn't have Kirara fuck up an iconic Wing scene recreation when Fellini was losing.

Fellini already lost. The Fenice's cockpit was destroyed, which is normally a loss, and the match is called. Why the match timer continued on and let Aila keep smashing it is beyond me.

Fellini trying to self-destruct Fenice was both a Wing recreation scene and to save Fenice's dignity. Thanks to Kirara, he was able to rebuild Fenice later better than ever.

It's always been a toy commercial. It just so happens that when they make an actual series without hiding that fact, they make something that's extremely fun and entertaining.

Really boring fights. I don't remember anything from the fights being noteworthy. The only thing I liked was the reveal of the Build Burning Gundam, and everything after that was boring.

It's been a shameless toy commercial since it's fucking inception.
Build Fighters is the first and arguably ONLY entry to do it right.
Then build fighters try happened and it became an absolute dumpster fighter that outright destroyed all of the good will that was created.

The best part of Island Wars was seeing Aila and her daughter, and seeing her Command Gundam is in the royal palace on Arian. Since China had it last in Paris, this means Reiji and Aila came back at some point and met up with Sei and China.
