Anime/manga have shitty endings 90% of the time. Why do you keep bothering? Why do you stick to this loop of dissapoinment?
Anime/manga have shitty endings 90% of the time. Why do you keep bothering...
Because I go for the 10%.
Because my life will end on a disappointment as well, so I'm just getting ready.
Because I don't just watch a series for the ending. The best shows are about the journey rather than the destination and can go for a thousand episodes.
Easy to say when you show something that still hasn't ended
>shows that can go for a thousand episodes
>most anime only runs full cour nowadays and is never renewed for 2nd or 3rd season
>mfw
That's a problem of the industry nowadays.
>*fireworks , trains , or others loud sounds on the background*
>"i love you"
>"what did you say?"
>"no , it's nothing..."
>roll the credits
everyfuckingtime
Me too, I love the fireworks.
>implying most anime even get endings nowadays with all the bullshit "buy the LN!" advertisements studios shit out
I think the other 10% is so good by comparison that it's worth the shit fest. I don't know why I keep coming back though.
I mostly watch SoL and comedy.
Try watching more anime original series and less manga/light novel adaptations. Obviously most manga/LNs that have a million chapters will never be fully adapted.
I enjoy feeling disappointed.
Would you prefer 1 or 2 episodes OVA like in the 90's?
The point is that must care very little about a show if the only thing you want out of it is the ending.
>Series like Monogatari get finished
>Why do they only do that cash cow?
You are not understanding the point of OP. What if conan ends tomorrow and has a shit ending? If you tell me you wouldn't care you are lying
>monogatari
>good
It's the journey not the destination that is the best.
What anime have the best endings that don't involve the MC dying? Is death the only way to properly end a good anime? Or is the death what makes the ending good?
With anime you have the issue of only being able to adapt a select number of chapters from a manga or light novel source most of the time and when you have an anime original, the storyboards for the last episodes are being written while it's airing, so the staff responsible for the story is under constant time pressure during those 3-6 months.
If you're looking for comfy or "good endings" look no further than School SoL. You can't really go wrong with those. Just do some emotional bullshit and let them graduate, which gives a feeling of finality. 10/10 ending right there.
Anime/manga/life is shitty 90% of the time.
Why continue living?
A good ending requires a feeling of finality for the viewer. Dying is about as final as it gets.
>Why do you keep bothering? Why do you stick to this loop of dissapoinment?
Of course I would care if it had a shit end and would be disappointed. But the OP asked why I even bother. Because I love the series that's why.
I loved the ride for all these hundreds of episodes and a bad end isn't going to change all that. Sure, the ending is a big part of a series but it's not everything. Just because the ending is bad, doesn't mean I regret following a series.
Because those 10% endings can be very very good tot the point that you don't care about the other 90%.
Are you joking? Death ending is the easy way out to finish something and a shit plot device.
To see them glorious 10% good endings.
already given up user. only manga I read now is watamote
90% of everything has shitty endings. Stop being a fucking Sup Forums pleb and fuck off.
Are you ok?
I'm just waiting for the final volume of Oregairu before I kill myself.
I don't even remember the last time I finished something.
Why do you think the last chapter is more important than the hundreds that come before it?
it's just art imitating life. For 90% of people if not more, life starts full of hope and promises and good times, and ends with failure and disappointment and misery.
The ending affects the journey too
Not them but yes
That hits a little close to home.
Then I'm pretty sure you'll die naturally before it gets released. It's been delayed like 4 or 5 times by now. The last scheduled date was April 2017 but now the date has been postponed indefinitely i.e. FUCKING NEVER.
You don't seem to like anime or manga. Why do you bother to come to an anime website? Why don't you just go find something else to find enjoyment in?
If you don't enjoy anime, why are you here?
Maybe it will be different this time.
If you don't like this thread, why are you commenting?
Make that 100%
And is about the journey no the destination, and the sexy girls.
Who the FUCK watches anime for the story.
Just stop watching adaptations of unfinished manga/LN. Obviously those will have an unsatisfying conclusion (and are just glorified commercials for the source material, anyway).
Everything is an LN adaptation this days
