One of this show's flaws is definitely that there is no clear main heroine.

It's obviously Meteora. The problem is the bait n switch. We thought Selestia was going to be the main heroine but she quickly became a side character half-way through.

You're right. Meteora gets all the screen time but even then she feels like some kind of exposition dump character whose role is sort of misused.

Its sad that I picked up this show for Selestia and thought she would be a more central character.

I picked it up for giant robots. I've given up on ever seeing Vogelchevalier in action again and Rui's early tantrum is finally beginning to settle in, he's just gonna be some background character who hangs out with Yuya when Yuya isn't fighting.

Who is the person on the left? I vaguely remember she's supposed to be a princess who can fly and comes from a planet that's engulfed in a terrible war and she has mutant healing factor like Wolverine. Unfortunately that's pretty much all we know about her. No information on her background, her character, her motivations, or the challenges she faces in her world and how they impact her actions in Souta's world.

Is her country losing the war? Is she involved in a brutal battle for succession with her other royal siblings? Is she worried about Charon being unfaithful? Can everyone in her world fly and heal themselves from massive injuries? Does she no longer care about her world now that she knows she's a character in a story? Perhaps I would appreciate her character more if I understood who the fuck she is and what drives her.

Oh and she has a really cool robot but she lost it so we can't see it in action.
