Book based anime

>would be
It already exists.

There are no differences, it's just a marketing term
Novels are novels, there are bad novels and good novels, being a light novel only means the publisher wants to market the book with that name

Was also going to say P&P. Would be a comfy SOL with great drama

Any chance of Hyouka getting released in English? Hibike Euphonium is getting released this month but I'm wondering about Hyouka.

Anyway I'm currently reading Perdido Street Station could see it making an interesting SHAFT anime with how the city is described.

Dungeon Defense

>Isekai
>RPG Mechanics
>Hero and Demon Lord
>Slaves
>Rape
>Harem

You know it's 10/10

How was WMT's Les Miserables, was it at least better than the Wolverine version?

Also what the hell happened to WMT anyway? Would've loved to have seen them tackle Lord of the Rings or some Arthurian mythos.

Well there is.
LNs have pictures in them, and tend to be shorter in length per book. Compared to novels.

There's also the whole thing of the latter being targeted towards young adults, and it being a vessel for more geek-based stories, but aside that, yeah, it's not an automatic Novel=good, LN=bad. But there's definitely a bias there, you can't deny that.

This would make a great anime. We could use more fantasy series that aren't based on JRPG.

The japs get the best bookcovers. Season three of a Dragonlance anime would be awesome.

What about LN=Novel with harem and stupid cliffhangers on end of every volume?
