I agree that education shouldn't be a market but the left only have themselves to blame for what's happening (in both the US and UK). For some strange reason, parents aren't keen on their kids being indoctrinated, or being taught to the lowest common denominator. So instead of having a decent public education system that leaves parenting to parents, we're going to end up with a market for schools and smart poor kids will be left behind as social mobility is wiped out. Good job, lefties!

we have a similar problem in France. most French people (i.e. european ones, not "french" on paper) send their kids in private school as soon as they have the means to do it to avoid "diversity" (i.e. blacks & arabs for the most part)

There are literal retarded people going to college now. I work at one. I mean retarded as in can’t wipe their own ass. Everyone thinks it’s inclusive and wonderful, but I see it as we’re taking advantage of their parent’s money. These are people who will only have low level jobs, like Burger King.

They've been shit since well before that. My bet is they plummeted since the ADA passed and legally schools had to take in actual retards and babysit these fucks until they're 21.

Then all the whining about 'tracking' in the early 80s fucked things up too. This was when they used to say 'okay your kid is a moron, everyone can see it' and then group the mongos up and teach them to dig ditches and shit. Niggers complained because they were usually the morons, so they made public schools stop separating these fuckups out and just ruined it for everyone instead.

This is true. What has happened is High level public education administration seen from the data shitskins can't pass High school at decent rates. If they can't get a high school diploma they are unemployable for the most part. So instead of admitting this and trying to remedy this issue with putting them into a track where dummies go they lowered the standards. In inner cities they even adjust IQ test upwards because if they did not their special ed classes would be full of shitskins.
The fact of the matter is Segregation is preferable and our forefathers had it right. Now instead we use property values to stay segregated. Let blacks run black schools.

Fast forward to today:
In Zurich we have classes with the same number of social workers present as children and even with 2 teachers per class they can't get through with the curriculum to a point where in 3th grade they're on the level of 2nd graders

For those special hard cases that need a special ed boarding home because it doesn't work at all at home, we have a waiting list of 2-3 years. For immediate placement (like both parents died, massive child abuse etc) exactly 3 emergency shelter beds in the entire canton.
Means those cases usually end up in the juvenile psychiatry or even the adult psychiatry with all the absolute crazy nut jobs.

Libs love public education, because it allows them to keep their kids segregated, with the right sort of people. They'll talk about how much they love and support public education but will go white as a sheet at the prospect of having their kids go to an inner city school. The really bad ghetto schools have no tax base to support the school and are plagued by a host of other problems turning them into mad houses. I've seen these schools I've been in them. Absolutely crazy, the teachers also get thrown to the wolves. You were lucky to get even one parent to show up to parent teacher conferences. Liberals hate the idea of school choice/vouchers as it allows kids to leave these mad houses and actually have a shot at a decent education. Liberals attribute the woeful condition of the inner city schools solely to "culture", to the kids. Letting these kids leave and end up in the same class as Tommy and Suzie, scares the shit out of them and that is why NYC has the most segregated school system in the country and why bleeding heart libs will fight tooth and nail to stop diverse a socioeconomic population from developing in their kids schools.

Vouchers are going to create a swarm of nigs and beaners that will spread all over America.

public schools are, and have always been, subsidized day care.
