I guess the small party of Free Citizens is probably the most similar to the definition of republicans. They used to be more libertarian, now they are more conservative as the libertarian voters migrated to other parties.

What does didf stand for?
There's more ways to distribute czech politics, i can tell you one, it's the approach to communism. Better said there are parties and politicians who are strongly against communism and others who are either OK to cooperate with communists or they are supportive of them.
When we talk about communists we mean true oldschool eastern european style commie party which has stable support around 15 % in this country.
The people on the aide against it are more pro-western oriented. Usually supportive of EU and Nato but this isn't necessarily truth. There's larger share or christian people (as true Christians can't stand commie party which kept them down for decades), educated people and city people. Economically they are oriented either right wing or centralist. The "modern left" as might be some anti-commie socialists, so popular in eg Germany, are very small group in this country.
Then there's ok with commies side. This is a very bizzare mixture of all possible political parties. Few years ago mostly voters of social democrats, nowadays they.support either oligarch Babiš (ANO party) or the Okamura guy. Less educated, less theist, more rural or industrial people. They all hate the former president Havel as he is a symbol of the Prague inteligency and the loose of communism. They can be very supportive of Russia and against NATO and EU, but this is not very clear as the main leader Babiš is a oligarch who gets money from the EU.
