Sport anime you actually enjoy

>watching anime for enjoyment
You are worse than the people who watch anime just to fill up their MAL scores.

Yuri on Ice. It was actually quite funny and the characters were likable. The depiction of ice skating was also pretty cool. Wish the girl childhood friend had more screentime, though.

Haikyuu ofcourse

Mahjong anyone?

I would rewatch Major more if it wasn't six ~24 episode seasons long.

One Outs, Baby Steps, Haikyuu, Kuroko.

The Giant Killing Manga and the manga for all the ones I mentioned above. Also shout-outs to Hinomaru Zumo and Robot x Laserbeam.

here.

I'd be happy if Ten/Gin to Kin had anime adaptations.

This was surprisingly enjoyable

I enjoyed this one because I've already read the manga at least up to where the anime adapted it. While it was nice to see it (and listen to it) as the animated version of the manga, a lot of the things I liked about the manga weren't adapted, namely, Nozomi and Sayaka's background stories, and some of the reasons behind some characters' decisions during the matches (such as Kawai noticing how Nozomi was guarding her chin too much, Miki noticing how Nozomi was faster than her attacks and had plenty of room to move around, also Nozomi analyzing Kotone and Maya), as well as the matches being shortened, and not as dynamic/impactful as they could be.

Unfortunately, this match and other moments I liked also won't be adapted.

Not an anime, I wish it gets animated, but I'm having fun w/ this.

MAL-MAN here to BTFO of another neet.
MAL is perfect so how about you fuck right off back to Mummy's basement and wait for your tendies. What's that? You waiting on step-daddy? Well didn't mummy tell you.. He left like the other five before him.
Don't post here again.

Haven't seen much, but I really liked Princess Nine and Chihayafuru.
Ace wo Nerae was also enjoyable.

I wanted to enjoy this, but I thought the characters were thin and the writing felt cheap. Like "heres the energetic character, this is the oppai one, this one is the tsundere one," etc and it didn't develop any more from that. And there should have been more actually playing the game and less exposition ihmo.
I got to episode 6 before I dropped

Is this a sport hell if I know but I enjoyed it

>I wanted to enjoy this, but I thought the characters were thin and the writing felt cheap.

You're not wrong about this, the characters are as generic as can be and the writing is simple to the bone. However, the character's personality in the game undeniable stands out.
I agree that there should've been more table-tennis because they did really well in that part part, not just building the hype using God-tier OSTs but also with very good directing and animation.

Definitely, but some of them got decent backstories and development. It was all about the hype anyway.

The cutest judo girl in the world!
