Problem is you can`t rely on any of them against an agression from Russia or western states so Romania would be left alone to face them like in ww2. For example when soviet union gave us the ultimatum to give up Bessarabia, only the turks offered their help while serbs and greeks refused. Also yugoslavia declined to help czekoslovakia whatsoever.
The only ones we might be able to rely on would be the bulgarians who are not so cucked by russia like the rest.

Take montenegro for an example, It is surrounded by Dinarid alps both on the norht and east, on the west it opens to the sea and on the south it is border by Sar mountains. Well organized and fortified ~7000 troops would be more than enough to cover the entire land from smaller attacks, and 20 000 troops would make montenegro unbeatable. However, consider Mongolia, a land with close to 0% woods and mountins only in the far north where no army would actually attack from. Giant country, with only empty plains. Even if they had 500 000 soldiers, they could be blitzkrieg-ed by a far smaller and organized force
