The biggest argument against to me is that a child needs both a caring, more feminine role in life, while being balanced with a disciplinary, masculine figure. Men and women can switch the roles, or organically shift between them, but think back to your parents. You always went to one when you needed comfort and the other when you needed advice. Again these roles can also be related to masculine vs. feminine. Gay parents may not be capable of providing a well rounded development for an adopted child. Two males may not be able to related on the emotional level as well, while two women may not be able to pass on the disciplinary figure a man typically takes.
My only issue from this study is that its not thorough enough. You'd have to see how the children of the gay parents do at raising a child, and then observe their child to really get a definitive answer.
