Naval officer here, she was right to be removed from her post, and should probably be busted down and any re-enlistment rejected. If you can't command the respect of your subordinates, that's on you. You don't go complaining in public, and even worse, on social media, about your inability to do YOUR job, and blame it on the race and sex of a particular demographic.
As an NCO, she has a DUTY, backed up by regulations, to hold subordinates accountable for insubordination. Take them to non-judicial punishment.
Good on the USAF for responding swiftly but they need to seriously investigate how she was put in a leadership position without the proper training to carry it out.

I don't think it's a problem of "promoting diversity". I think it's a general problem of leadership, and a general problem of training, both of which manifested in this case. There are no "diversity quotas" for advancement in rank.
As for your concern about damage control evacuation, take it up with your DCA and Repair Locker Officer if you feel there are problems with locker assignments.

I only skimmed it looking for an example of a de facto quota for advancement, but I only saw initiatives for increasing the diversity of applicant pools and for removing barriers to career advancement. I'm sure some will feel that that's being less than forthright about what's going on, but those proposals (I don't know if they were implemented or really what's going on in the Air Force) don't seem to be out of alignment with DoD principles and ethics.

It’s really hard to discipline blacks in the military. In tech school, we had this uppity nig in our class who constantly broke rules and disrupted class. He also, by anyone else’s standards, should have failed all his briefings but instead was praised by a certain instructor for doing such a great job.
For example, your 1st month or so at tech school, you can’t leave base or wear civvies. He did both. Constantly. It seemed there was no punishment. He would always make noises and shout out during class. Did nigger things to his hair that violated AFI 36-2903. Our class leader (e-6) tried to bring some form of punishment to him, because of his disruptfulness during class and running around in civvies. Instead, our class leader was told if he pursued this any further that he would receive paperwork for racism. It got so bad with one instructor that our class leader left to go to another class with another instructor because he believed he would be unfairly graded, and I agreed with him.
It was just silly protection for this shitbird airman for no reason other than his race. His briefings were shit, like he fundamentally did not understand the content, yet he passed while a few others failed. Guy was a huge piece of shit

There is no system that inflates the number of promotions within a certain demographic. I recommend you look at the advancement systems the Navy uses for its enlisted and officer ranks, there's quite a bit of documentation on both.

I was a brand new airman. I didn’t know. To me it was a no win situation. Allegedly the class leader had to have a sit down with the training squadron commander where he got chewed out for trying to discipline the kid. At the very least, she is no longer in command, for other reasons.

Well, going forward I encourage you to speak up when something doesn't seem right, and I also encourage you to really dig into the instructions/directives so that you can cite the relevant regulations when you do speak up. My career only really took off when I started digging into command instructions (they wanted to put me on a Fitness Enhancement Program and I wasn't having it). In the process of doing my research I found a lot of room for improvement in command policies, took my suggestions to the XO, and my initiative was rewarded with increased responsibility and authority.

I wasn't involved with any of that, so I'm not familiar with the details, but from what I've seen it looks like that was indeed inappropriate political meddling. Again, I don't know the details so I can't say for sure. Unrelated, but I also heard from an anonymous source familiar with the meeting exactly what went down when the Navy decided to do away with rates. It was pretty bad, and totally explains why it was announced the way it was and why it was taken back so quickly.

Was rewarded with being flown off carrier at sea for 2 month easy as cake IT school in VA beach while my ship was running GQ drills 19 times over 2 months. So don’t give me that bullshit.
