>hundreds of chapters later >still has the same loser personality he had in the first chapter
I know a lot of people will mention some generic harem MC but most harem anime and manga don't last as long as KHR did and are fanservice oriented, having an action series this long with a wimp MC that never stops acting like a little piece of shit is unforgivable in my view.
Alexander Hill
It should have ended after the intial ring arc.
Nicholas Baker
It should have never stopped being a gag manga
Joseph Rogers
The first ring arc was pretty fucking great in my opinion. Hibari down gola mosca in one hit was hype
Nathaniel Miller
I loved KHR. You could tell it was fujobait but that didn't stop my dick. I don't remember if the fights were any good though. I do know that I loved the future arc and I think it did well not falling into the same old same old shounen tropes. If you didn't like the future arc. You're just not human. It went several levels of keikaku over Aizen
Aaron Perry
The resolution of the future arc was Bleach-tier
>Byakuran absorbs the energy of everyone >Tsuna kicks his ass after getting an deus ex machina power up
Ryder Bailey
well...it IS a gag manga...
Jason Jones
The only thing i didn't like about the future arc is that it went on for too long and that "these are my REAL 6 generals" shit. But i'm also in the minority that liked Simon family and Enma was a cutie desu.
Christopher Allen
>WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH IM SCARED OF TITS! WAAAAAH CAN'T FIGHT A GIRL!
David Hill
>hundreds of chapters later >still has the same loser personality he had in the first chapter Glad I dropped this early then
Landon Hernandez
Well the author should have read Kinnikuman to know how to writer a proper action gag manga
Blake Adams
You shouldn't expect much. Its author was female.
Kayden Rogers
FMA was written by a woman and it is better than the majority of the manga of it's genre
Jose Reed
I've never read it in manga form, but I was always under the impression the anime is what made it stand out. I'm not really insinuating women can't write compelling stories or anything. Just that I always considered FMA special due to its anime.
Blake Parker
The manga is the best version.
Gabriel Lewis
So how did it end. Dropped it midway through future and never looked back
Mason Cooper
why's that?
Easton Foster
Watching him didn't cause me physical pain.
Juan Miller
Glad I was young and a newfag to anime when I watched this, I didn't care for asspulls or shitty writing. The characters designs were cool, and the ring bullshit was nice too. Gonna stay like a good memory and never rewatch it or read the manga.
Nolan Bailey
FMA was also monthly and published in an alternative magazine, with more creative freedom and aimed at older teenagers.
I'm not saying that Amano is at Arakawa level, or that these factors are decisive, but I don't think it's fair to disregard them.
Jacob Martinez
deku >kacchan l'm sorry for being a little faggot let me zealously suck your dick to apologize!!
Caleb Hernandez
I think you will love pic related
Cooper King
I like Deku. His evolution is full of nuances. He's like Shinji, being an insecure whiner has narrative purpose, unlike Tsuna, who is a cry-baby or a badass just because.
Jason Green
>character bio reads like a Naruto fanfic
Blake Clark
The whole synopsis looks like a that naruto fanfic that some people here wrote when they were 12
Logan Smith
Fucking this. Bakugo bullies the shit out of Deku and this cocksucker has the balls to fucking apologize for making Bakugo feel insecure about himself which is why he started bullying him in the first place. If were Deku I'd knock his fucking teeth in for bullying me for such a stupid fucking reason and for expecting me to apologize for it.
Owen Sanders
That's the whole manga in a nutshell too, it's so fucking bad.
Cooper Flores
>He's like Shinji HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Elijah Howard
Please tell me it never got widespread publication
Colton Lee
Anime next season.
Zachary Allen
My guy Black Clover is outselling One Piece right now and I don't know how because Black CLover is beyond shitty.
Eli Evans
Well, I can understand Deku having a shit self-steem for being born quirkless
Luke James
Really rushed open end.
Tyler Jones
>there are good manga and animu that died for this
Gavin Edwards
The current gen of Jump authors grew up with the generation we call the big 3. Aster is heavily influenced by them but fails to catch the charms they had.
David Reyes
Bullying in Japan is often seen as the fault of the victim. So the victim should not take revenge, but strive to restore harmony. The same thing happens in Koe no Katachi, but nobody complains because Ueno is hot and Nishimiya is cute.
Zachary Peterson
Exactly. I never stop getting surprised at how incredibly bad stuff nips like.
Charles White
>le Ueno was at fault Here we go with this meme again
Alexander Miller
>outselling One Piece surely you jest
David Brown
I'll never stop being mad at the ending of this manga
Kayden Garcia
By this logic (Ueno was right), Bakugou humiliate Deku is fair too.
Ayden Rivera
it's not even about revenge, it's about not acting like a fucking fangirl towards a guy who clearly hates you
and on top of that the author claims deku hates bakugo too, which is doubly retarded
Gavin Wilson
>WAAAAAAH TORIKO SAN MUH BOIPUSSY
Kevin Baker
>the koe no katachi parallel was there all along
Mason Lopez
>and on top of that the author claims deku hates bakugo too, which is doubly retarded He doesn't hate, he admires the guy, but sees him as a rival. But I think after chapter 120, the conflict is over.
Logan Wright
Man I couldn't stand him early on but he sort of grew on me as the manga went on, don't know how awful the anime probably made him though.
Christopher Sanchez
>it's not even about revenge, it's about not acting like a fucking fangirl towards a guy who clearly hates you
Hudson Cox
>He doesn't hate he's said multiple times he hates/dislikes bakugo
and then he deepthroats him at the first occasion
worst mc ever
Luke Carter
I watched the first episode and I dropped just because of his annoying voice
Levi Jones
>Fujo artist that can draw the best girls Chrome and Akane are testament of this.
Wyatt Thompson
>Name a worse anime/manga MC. Natsu. Ichigo. That was easy.
Ayden Thomas
I think the only positive thing I can say about the writing of this piece of shit is that the main rival isn't a edgelord like Sasuke
Cameron Hill
World's End Harem MC When literally the only reason you're right isn't because of some strong moral argument or putting forth undeniable effort but instead the author being a complete hack and just having the world go 'Okay sure, you win', than you're a complete and utter failure as a character. Even Tsuna at his worst had some kind of morals that he stood for, some kind of argument he made for why he does what he does. Meanwhile World's End Harem MC 'Please let me have everything I want while contributing nothing' 'Okay'
Henry Murphy
lmao
Landon Diaz
>Didn't pick Haru for waifu, the one girl who can relate to him, share funny moments with, and deeply develops her love for him throughout the series
Nah, you're right OP, Tsuna's a real piece of shit.
Jonathan Reyes
>I didnt read/watch the series and whats wrong with not fighting a girl?
Isaiah Powell
>deeply develops her love for him throughout the series As much as I think Haru was a 10/10 qt, don't fool yourself. She was a shit character.
Nathan Brooks
>but I was always under the impression the anime is what made it stand out. >Just that I always considered FMA special due to its anime. Why? They're no different than any other shounenshit adaptation. Unless you're one of those retards who've only seen like five shows and therefore having nothing else to compare it to, which is most of Sup Forums.
Jacob Smith
He was not nearly as bad as you are bitching he was. I'm sorry that you are too retarded to notice the fact that he was no longer a wimp at the end.
Luke White
What ends up happening to her?
Gabriel Peterson
yeah well this bitch isn't a battle shonen mc
Carter Allen
Where did he get his bombs from anyway?
Wyatt Wilson
Gangraped and mindbroken.
Julian Morris
Just about all the girls in this series were really nice. Its a shame they were stuck in this awful series.
Camden Howard
I would think she ended up as tsunas mistress. considering they're a mafia family unless mafia bosses are actually faithful to thier wives. but since its a shonen manga they just stayed friends(they all did)
Andrew Ross
FMA anime > FMA manga > FMAB
Jose Richardson
I don't think most people that read/watched KHR knew that most of its Japanese fanbase was kids around 10-12 years old. It really shows in the volume extras and lettters the author received, so it really should never be taken as something that was supposed to be a masterpiece of storytelling. But it did have a lot of good fanart and doujins from fujos and I'm glad a ton of them liked drawing best boy Squalo.
Fuck off to Sup Forums with this reaction image crap.
Kayden Brown
>no longer a wimp at the end only when hes not fighting for his friends
Camden Wood
She does grow a bit from her initial "OMG you saved me so I'll love you instead of Reborn" phase into a more supportive role backed with reason. The way she handled how Tsuna told her the truth about everything was pretty intense as she's trying to hold up her usual character in spite of the pressuring news.
Sebastian Sanchez
It's not like naruto was good. I mean. I've said it before but it really felt like Kishimoto stopped trying after part 1
Luke Nguyen
Actual nip Fujoshi make the best girls because they have higher standards for females. Most of them also like shoujo-ai too, or are lesbians. This is what my extensive research and lurking has taught me. I was really shocked by the one manga about a bunch of female otaku ttrpg players.
Jaxson Ross
The guy that did DN and HnG also draws the best girls, it's a shame he's so sexist though.
>actual nip fujoshi You mean actual male fujoshi or something? The average female mangaka has shit art.
Jayden Wood
>it's a shame he's so sexist though. >female mangaka has shit art
Brandon Garcia
I kind of really liked his power up.
Isaac Gutierrez
>female mangaka has shit art How many manga have you read, five?
Carter James
Chrome gave me skelly girl fetish
I think Tsuna was full of shit but rest of characters were fun, and it was smart enought to keep villains who were best characters around just to show them off once in a while
I enjoyed how last arc was a big battle between all stables introduced, but last chapter was a disaster
Cooper Powell
Stating there's differences measurable between two different sexes isn't being sexist. That's like saying women having bigger breast on average is sexist.
how many manga I've read has zero correlation with that statement. Tell me of what use my answer to that would be. If you just wanted to post a reaction image. Don't bother coming up with a response.
Nolan Brooks
He straight up pulled all his shit together in order to fight for Reborn and against the metalface fucker iirc. He called a bunch of mafia fuckos into his house and was like 'OK WE GON DO THE SHIT NOW'. Then again, it's been half a decade-ish since I read it.
I just remember Tsuna being a boss and igniting his flames on his own while swearing to save Reborn. Also Tsuna got punched in the face by his deadbeat asshole father out of no where even though the fuck literally died in the future and basically did zero shit during the rest of the series.
Where was this shit when a crazy time traveling dimension sliding albino creep was raping reality?
The mangaka honestly seemed like she just got sick of the series and forced the ending because she liked Fashion more. I can't blame her. Long running series must be the devil and Japan is shit when you're an artist. Wrist pain from drawing hurts me like hell and I don't even draw that often anymore.
Yeah. Again, I think Amano got tired of it.
Tyler Price
This manga is my biggest guilty pleasure but it dropped the ball so many times.
>Great power up >Use it for only one important fight >Instead have a bow and arrow For what purpose.I don't even remember if he did anything in the final arc.
Jayden Baker
all that was again was because he was fight for his friends when it comes to himself hes back to his old self. which is classic of shonen MCs whos whole thign they fight for thier friends.
>Where was this shit when a crazy time traveling dimension sliding albino creep was raping reality I dont know the answer to that. but yeah he is shitty why introduce him anyway
Connor Young
Do you literally mean that they are shit at drawing, or that their art is just in shoujo style that doesn't appeal to you? Because if it's former, come the fuck on.
Kevin Carter
This is what I hate about most shonen MC's. They get treated like trash but let themselves be pushed around as if it's an honorable quality.
There is a difference between taking the high road and being a doormat.
Jonathan Long
Yeah man. It's 'intentionally shit'.
Gabriel Butler
Years later and this is still the most hilarious final boss.
Luis Lewis
But she is a shonen MC in a japanese comic.
Liam Morris
Oh god
I didn't even remember that existed. What are you doing to my brain?
Was this a fuck you from Amano after all?
Jordan Young
I would think so, but it doesnt really feel like she was axed but even if she wasnt what more could she write about?
Nathan Howard
Well, Amano IS a woman and i guess in her mind a guy looking like that is the creepiest shit >Imagine getting hit on by a guy looking like this
Blake Scott
Her editors probably wanted to milk things more. If so, I can blame her for making the ended so shit and flimsy.
I'm surprised she didn't go into fashion though. Her designs are so stylish.
Justin Brooks
Dude, can you imagine getting hit on by someone looking like that? Amano is no stranger to the other end either. The early chapters had a guy who only ever dated ugly chicks, and we had that science bitch that manipulated a bunch of thirsty fuckers into becoming robot fuel. We've also had creepier guys as well and I highly doubt it all depended on how it'd feel if they hit on you.
And as a fan of Lovecraft;
>Going anywhere near Innsmouth and those with it's look.
Nolan James
Talking shit about the madman? Are you crazy, boi?
Luis Anderson
>The characters designs were cool Pretty much the only thing it had going for it. Even the most generic character had, well, character to him.
James Myers
Shirou, always getting rewarded for being a dumbfuck.
Adam Thompson
which is weird, since dorohedoros art is an acquired taste, but they probably don't know how to or just dotn want to.
Isaac Anderson
>getting rewarded archer would like to have a word with you.
