Chariot already got her moment with Akko this week. That relationship got all the closure it needed.

I'd personally like to see just Akko/Diana having a big emotional scene in the last episode, with hints towards Andrew / Akko furthering their relationship.

I want to see Croix conflicted that the WRM wasn't what she expected it to be, and although feeling bad for what happened to Chariot she still rejects turning to the good side and goes off in the search for meaning in her life, leaving behind Chariot and Akko.

If flashback Croix's words in 23 were correct (something like "what does it matter if you take magic from people who don't use it anyway?"), more muggles have magic than you'd expect, they're just not interested in using it.

Perhaps Akko just makes people more interested in using magic again. It's pretty much the mission of her being neo-Chariot anyway.

Did Akko going after Diana in episode 19-20 inspire her to not give up on her friendship with Croix?

Do stuff alone and you'll be blinded by your own emotions and make critial mistakes, go act it together with some decent people and you'll be surprised at what you can accomplish. The whole thing ended with Croix in a pit of despair and self loathing completely mind broken and Akko in the light surrounded by friends. I wonder how Croix will feel when despite all the shit she's done Akko and Chariot's bright smiles and welcoming hands are still reaching out to her. Even she has to know that she doesn't deserve to be around people like them yet they want her anyway.

So I'm guessing the world construction magic won't directly reinvigorate the world tree, but using it to rekindle the passion, love and trust of people in magic will be what ultimately bring magic back. A believing heart is your magic, after all.

In this same ep Chariot also shouted to Croix that she had stopped believing, which may very well be one of the reasons for her downfall.

Only remmants of it exist. The Ley lines are all that's left from the World Tree, which gave so much magic energy to the world the period before it disappeared is called the legendary age of magic.
Seeing as how the Great Triskelion is a twig I think they'll use it to make a new world tree grow to bring back the age of magic.
What Akko did this episode was just a small reconstruction of Arcturus Forest, it didn't revive magic or change the whole world.
