What happened?

Went way to fast to finish all the shit up. Last Chapter basically compressed an event that should have taken 20 more chapters to fulfill into one.

He did it because of the 66.6 thing

He already went for the meme 66.6, for 666. Bending the numbering further wouldn't have mattered. Especially if it made a better narrative. Last chapter wrapped way too much up.

The epilogue was more of a prologue, of a sequel that hasn't happened yet

I meant the last chapter of the fight. I don't have too much problem with the epilogue, but the last chapter of the battle was just so rushed. It didn't feel like a proper resolution at all. Just a Deus Ex Machina.

The thing that pissed me off the most was the stupidity
For all they knew Fairy Tale's strongest warrior was a vampire, and vampires are the monsters with the most amount of weakness ever made
Why weren't they all equipped like this?
This should have worked against literally everyone of the final bosses, and they only used holy water once

God, has there ever been a manga more buttfucked by its anime adaptation? The manga is so good (for the most part), and does the whole monster mash thing really well, with some gorgeous as fuck artwork.

For a while, it seemed like R+V was nearly as popular as Hellsing. But I think the anime killed that sentiment off

I watched the anime first and I liked it
It even had Nana Mizuki
Then after reading the manga I realized the wasted potential
