Quick rundown on the latest gains? What is the SAA's goal here?
Thomas Price
>inb4 "baby killer ASS*d bombed the last bag of sugar of Saraqib"
Robert Williams
So, their objective is obviously securing the railroad first before Saraqib, and the Tigers have the high ground advantage attacking down into Qinnasrin Swamp.
Brody Fisher
Finally some action in the N/E ISIS Hama pocket.

>Turkey will not hand over Afrin to Assad – Erdogan’s adviser
BEIRUT, LEBANON (5:55 P.M.) – The senior diplomatic adviser to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan went on record recently to declare that Turkey will not hand over the Afrin region to the Syrian government of Bashar Al-Assad.
“So those who think Assad should regain control over Afrin and all the border areas across Turkey should think twice because this will never solve the vital security interest of our country,” Ilnur Çevik claimed in his op-ed for the Daily Sabah on Tuesday.
Cevik would then claim that the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) is working with the Syrian government, so handing it over to them would be counter-productive to their border-security.
“With the Afrin campaign, Turkey is spoiling the game for Assad, the PKK [Kurdistan Workers Party] and even for the Americans. Turkey aims to stamp out the PKK from Syria and hand over the lands back to their rightful owners, the Arabs, Turkmen and the Kurds,” Çevik added.
>say you'll hand it to assad >lose your cannon fodders Why would they?
Ethan Murphy
>Officers of IRGC did recon of jihadists defenses at Al Eis. Very soon long awaited offensive will continue towards Fua pocket. Build up of forces to start this week. >Other factions participating include Hezbollah, Nujaba,Imam Ali Brigade and some units of Hashd twitter.com/Elly_Ammar/status/958800780206727168

Good. Every inch. Or more like "every inch possible" looking at the current state of things...
>Israel is the bastion of freedom, democracy, and civilization in the Middle East.

>Turkey will not hand over Afrin to Assad – Erdogan’s adviser
Keyword: Assad.
With Russia and their Sochi National Dialogue Assads future is uncertain. I still can't tell if Russian are bluffing with the Sochi in order to buy time and get moral high ground or if they are genuinely ready to make drastic changes to Syrian constitution and how far are they ready to go.
Still it might be Turkish PR campaign to reinforce confidence in their voter base that they haven't completely agreed with Russian and probably a reminder to jihadists that their interests are represented by Turkey.
Julian Barnes
kek, illegal clayminer confirmed.
this will turn out very bad. SAA will rush to the dam and secure their energy pipeline before turqs flip the switch and make the new clay a fact.
Zachary Gutierrez
>This offensive was long awaited. Turkish attempt to block route towards Fua by establishing series of Observation points has forced SAA Higher Command and allies to execute the operation as soon as possible. And what better time to do it when max Turkish proxies are at Afrin twitter.com/Elly_Ammar/status/958802105619439616

>Kurds deserve their own country. They were oppressed for centuries. It's inhumane for them to stay slaves in these modern times. Like Saladin was a Kurd so they deserve independence.
Oliver Butler
Big surprise. Same will happen to the rest of Kurdish held Syria and there is nothing resistance axis cucks can to about it.
Bentley Fisher
>tfw Assad will be within striking distance of Idlib itself in a matter of weeks Could it even happen that fast? If these rumors are true?
Jordan Perez
Didn't the rebelz trash it already? What is the point of securing the rail line? Surely the train has been late for 5 years or more now?
Andrew Rogers
It is only 31 km now. Can his artillery shoot that far?
Gavin Brown
days
Colton Hill
btw is jewish jew here, the real one?
Jace Price
Look at what they achieved today. Just imagine what they can do with Hezbollah and zerg rushing PMU's. Fua'a and Kafrayya is important as fuck for Iran it seems. No idea, at first it seemed like le deconfliction line and whatnot, but Iran and SAA seems to have other plans. Shortening the frontline?
Isaac Walker
>we will defeat fascist turkey with our home made armors Reminds me of the Italian's approach to charges against machine guns 100 years ago
Christian Martin
If they want to operate the airbase they need to secure around 20km around Adu Dhur
Daniel Sanchez
>What is the point of securing the rail line? The point is having a railroad to Aleppo in order to ease logistics in the north, ensure quicker delivery of reinforcements/supplies/equipment to Aleppo (or other areas near the railroad). >Didn't the rebelz trash it already? If they have, the SAA can always rebuild it with some Russian help.
Joseph Lee
I'm not sure if this is retarded but wouldn't it be okay if they take off directing to east?
Lucas Reyes
Or was your point about possible mortar shelling?
David Morris
Depends on the piece but yes, Pz2000 for example has a max range of 35kms with unassisted rounds
Not sure about SAAs arsenal though
Brandon Murphy
if you run fast enough into the machine gunner you could pierce him with your helmet. the eye flaps are top tho. are they physically or psychologically protective?
Jeremiah Lee
I think BM-27 can
Nathan Hughes
It's not only about take off, also about shelling by artillery, etc.
Christopher Price
>Can his artillery shoot that far? Some of the rocket artillery the SAA has/had(?) can strike up to 30kms.
Henry Parker
He admitted it..it's him or doc anyway.
David Harris
Where are they going?
Anthony Watson
Buffer zone is necessary to prevent the shelling by Jihadis, as well as ATGM strikes against the aircraft (webm related)
Colton Young
if you shoot to one side while the guy is running at you, you could cut off his arm. he might rise up, shouting "it's only a flesh wound".
