More importantly, they gained independence.

This

Would Koe no Katachi have actually been watchable if Bones had produced it?

>pay your staff hourly instead of per frame
>suddenly you save anime

sasuga kyoani

This is by far the most important part. It'll serve them in a long run.

It was already great, you were just too busy sucking dick to appreciate it.

I had moderately high hopes for Maid Dragon but I've just given up now, especially since they'll go back to adapting their awful LN series.

Why is yuko so cute.

Nope, they're dead once Evergarden bombs.

Trigger should buy them out, shut them down, and use their buildings for art supply storage.

How can you have fallen if you were never on top from the start?

Pic related, here's a studio that has truly fallen.

Toei actually pays more, but you hardly ever hear them get called good.

It's nice that they do those things, but an anime studio should ultimately be measured by the quality of its anime, not how well it treats its employees. (I thought Sup Forums hated ess jay dubbayews.)

>Shat
>ever on top

Would FMA Brotherhood have actually been watchable if KINOani had produced it?

The last good anime they made was Lucky Star. They died even before Madhouse did in like 2009.

>Madoka by kyoanus

You know how Yuki Yuna is the poor man's Madoka?

Madoka by kyoanus would be that poor man's smegma.

Because she's retarded

>megucafags

Brotherhood was great because of the sakuga. I don't think KyoAni could match it.

From who?

Bullshit.
Eventually Amagi and (especially) lucky star were average. Most of their works is top tier. And they will be always my no.1 studio for perfect adaptations of Clannad (best anime ever made), Kanon, Air and Suzumiya.

FMA including B is a boring shounen shit with nice background art, super boring soundtrack and hyper annoying humour. Nothing happens in first 50 episodes and then it's a little interesting.

Kadokawa slave drivers

>hates Lucky Star
>thinks Clannad is the best anime ever made

No wonder they're trash now.

No wonder they're improving now.

Evergarden will make Kyoani great again.

Lucky Star was a shit tier adaptation of yonkoma manga. They literally put 4 panels into anime and nothing else. Boring as fuck. This is the worst way to do anime from yonkoma. Thankfully they learned on thier fault and K On was whole universe better in every aspect. They put a lot of effort into characterization, story building and top tier animation.

>hates
Learn to read before posting and calling someone else a plebian, you pleb.

>tfw I haven't watch any Kyoani shit since K-ON
How have they fallen indeed.

The post clearly indicates dissatisfaction for Lucky Star

Sounds like a personal problem.

I like trigger but this is retarded bait

Hate =/= dissatisfaction.
Also, Lucky Star as anime is a garbage-tier adaptation.

They haven't fallen, they just haven't done anything to stand out in a very long time.

They'll need to make something like 2017 Berserk to truly fall.

Posting in an IRC thread.

They've been on a downtrend since 2012
I loved Tamako Market, and Hibike and Maid Dragon were decent. They need a good IP next year because Violet Evergarden looks pretty shit

It's not significant because they treat their employees well but because they train their animators and make high quality anime without spreading themselves thin

Why is every 4-koma, manga, and novel KyoAni adaptation better than every LN KyoAni adaptation Why are LNs so bad

Haruhi was a masterpiece and it was a LN.

Poor kyoanihaters. They will be making these threads till Winter due to lack of new material to shitpost

I'll admit Haruhi is an exception to the rule

Violet Evergarden looks pretty interesting actually. Steampunk?

Steampunk elements but not full blown steampunk.

>Why are LNs so bad
Do you even read LNs or base your opinion on adaptations?

I more so mean that LN adaptations in general are bad, and KyoAni's are subpar

Kyoani's LN adaptations aren't that particularly awful. They're not anything to sneeze at (outside of Haruhi) but still enjoyable. I don't think they are any worse than the Keyshit.

facebook dragon was a mistake.

Koe no Katachi was a huge success and yet the mindless KyoAni haters will still claim that the studio is collapsing. Nothing new here. it's been going on for as long as I can remember

Koe no Katachi has only sold 50k BDs in week 4. KyoAngus is dead.

>Worldwide Box Office $3,022,655

It looks beautiful, but then again, now they're not just out to make a non-lolicon series, but outright old hag centered.

>Became shit as soon as they left Kadokawa

Hmm...

>Pierrot-tier "budget" studio with delusions of grandeur

Nah

>No kyoani for 2 more seasons
Someone save me from this hell

Holy shit that's awful

Just take Nozomu Itoshiki's solution.

BDs sold like shit and Kimi no Na Wa and In This Corner cucked it out of all its awards.
Stay mad kyoanifag

Only because Aniplex bribed theaters to not carry Katachi.

Saint Naoko will save anime.

Faking sainthood is top-level blasphemy, y'know. Something like 1000 Hail Marys. Might even be a mortal sin; check with your priest.

KyoAni treats their employees wel-

Yeah, saint doesn't do her justice. She's a goddess.
