It's natural for people to avoid information if it conflicts with their vision of the world, which is why you avoid those threads. The problem is, those threads are very true. My room mate college was a "chad" you'd be astonished by how many guy's girlfriends he fucked. The most innocent looking girls got fucked on a regular basis.
