Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"

Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"

Also, in retrospect, everyone who complained about being able to date Makishima Shogo in the CID cafeteria hilariously missed the point.

Also, poor Inspector Gino. Poor, poor Inspector Gino. Having to deal with this fucking basketcase.

Yeah, that makes no sense.

Okay user

>Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"

Anal sex with Akane

>Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"
Truly an anime for intellectuals.

Why did season2 have to be so shit? I'm still upset.

Not like season 1 was much better after you get to the part where you find out the shit is just a bunch of brains. It made no sense after that was revealed.

Is the VN good? Season 1 is one of my favourite anime

Made me laugh. Many thanks!

>Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"
Intredasting

>Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"
noitaminA is Animation backwards.

Hope IG unfucks itself and produces something good again.

What happens to Gino in the VN?

Fucking summer

He becomes ball.

That face needs a good dicking.

I-is he alright?

am i the only one who liked season2?

It wasn't written by Urobuchi and the new writer tried to badly imitate his writing

Sure hope so!

Remember Psycho Gargle?

I did like it. It's nowhere near as good as season 1, but I wouldn't say it's bad.

I think this is the only anime I managed to drop in 2 episodes

Shogo did nothing wrong.

It made perfect sense, the whole series is full of classic sci fi philosophical references. The brain in the vat is as iconic as they get and it was used in such a way to further explore the ultimate theme of what constitutes righteousness and humanity. Which is why Shogo was a top tier husbando, Orobutcher literally made a sociopathic murderer a christ figure in PP, that's quite the accomplishment if you ask me.

People really don't give PP enough credit, which is funny, since you all also whine about the lack of original anime. Well he's one, it wasn't based on some manga adaptation that panders to established tropes, it was a real story with real substance. Faggots.

season 3 never

I think slitting her best friend's throat to prove a point is pretty wrong.

Also she probably shouldn't have taken Sasayama's death as hard as she did

Also it's extremely silly to go around solving crimes that you yourself cause - and even more silly to beat yourself up over the exact method you use to solve them.

So, I'll say it once again...

Did you guys know that "Psycho Pass" can be read as "Psychopath?"

I want solve crimes with Akane.

Do you want to commit them with her?

>Did you guys know Psycho Pass can be read as "Psychopath?"
...my god

Nice timing, user. I just started rewatching season 1. Akane looks either cute or terrifying depending on the shot, but I still really like her.

It's great when you see Gino try to figure out if he's talking to "Akane" or "Kogami."

I've just finished the first cour, and I feel slow as fuck for only noticing on a second watch, but Akane's friend who gets killed by Makishima says something about wondering whether people with clear hues are all like Akane which is funny considering what happens later.

I mean the joke is on me, since I literally wrote a manuscript about a detective with gender based DID the year before Psycho Pass aired and the twist completely went over my head until very recently.

You're making me feel like I've missed something here, user.

I'll be blunt if that's what it takes

AKANE, KOGAMI, AND SHOGO ARE THE SAME GODDAMN PERSON
Ginoza is very much aware of this(See ) when it comes to Akane and Kogami at least. Kagari, the newbie, is not. Ever wonder why Akane could handle her alcohol?

Literally just rewatch episodes 1 and 2 - in episode 2 there is a sequence with Akane looking for a "spare tablet" that spells it out for you.

I don't know what the other guy meant, but after that comes the whole criminal asymptomatic thing comes up, not that Akane is one. Probably.

And trust me, this is no Mattpat tier Game Theory, this is what the show is actually about.

Come at me with any scenes you think disprove it.

user...

Fuck you, I'm right about this.

I just meant Akane looks like a weird alien from some angles, this is 2deep4me. I'm not trying to disprove you here, but I'm curious, what led you to this conclusion?

that was the most idiotic thing i read today, holy...

the hypah oats is strong in this one

Please don't bully him. I want to see where he's going with this.

Can you really even call her best friend a human being though? Most of the people under Sibyl have no conception of individual agency, it was not unlike killing some dumb animal. And then you consider the ramifications of the act, kill one to save countless others. Ultimately Shogo was a messiah, his goal was to proselytize and he ended up converting Kogami and Akane who will probably be the ones to take down Sibyl.

Literally nothing wrong.

Offer a counterargument. Disprove my hypothesis.
Akane, Kogami, and Shogo all had top scores in every department imaginable.

Akane carries around a miniature hologram projector that can change her appearance and her voice perfectly. Akane is said many times to be a super duper genius.

Inspector Kogami(Often called "Ko-chan"), suffered a mental break three years ago.

Enforcers are only allowed to roam their apartments and the cafeteria of the CID. Say, how come Akane always meets her friends in the same place?

To prevent Enforcers from leaving the premises, scanners that can track one's PP are in place. But in other words, if your PP was low enough, even an Enforcer could break out of their gilded cage.

Akane expresses an innate desire to find meaning and a purpose. What is Shogo doing for the first 10 episodes? Hanging around serial killers and trying to see the meaning of their existence.

Basically, Akane controls her Psycho Pass via her blatant and incredible insanity. When Shogo fights Kogami that's two sides of Akane fighting.
Taking a life of another was not your decision to make, Akane. And I see that Shogo is coming back to life as of the movie.

Then you have shit taste.

>Taking a life of another was not your decision to make, Akane.
Like I said, you call it a life but you don't share the same stress over the death of cattle. Akane's friend was really just human livestock living under Sibyl, incapable of expressing or even understanding free will. You wouldn't say it's wrong to take the life of a steak, would you?

>And I see that Shogo is coming back to life as of the movie.
Makishima is here to stay, except now he's ghost Shogo who haunts Kogami like some little devil on his shoulder. He mostly just trolls him.

Are we posting best boy? Makishima is unironically my role model, I want to be like him (mullet and all) when I grow up (I'm 31 currently).

>female mc
Didn't even bother watching

Yuki was far more perceptive than a piece of meat. She helped Akane to grow. Her reward was to be put down like a dog.

Not that I think Akane need be executed - but killing Yuki was wrong. Akane needs to come to terms with her role in the matter.

>Yuki was far more perceptive than a piece of meat.
That was literally a hallucination of Akane's projecting her intelligence onto her. Yuki couldn't even get a job as a sanitation worker with her Sibyl exam scores.

did you guys know to-love ru is read as toraburu (trouble)

Interesting. Not that I'd agree with the murder of the mentally impaired, but what evidence do ya got that that scene is a hallucination Akane is having?

>Yuki was far more perceptive than a piece of meat. She helped Akane to grow.
That was literally a hallucination of Akane's projecting her intelligence onto Yuki. She couldn't even get a job as a sanitation worker with her Sibyl exam scores. The only way Yuki could help Akane grow is if she ate her after Shogo opened up her throat.

She was having mental conversations with Shogo and Kogami in the same scene wasn't she?

Hmm - the scene I pulled was from episode 6. Akane does indeed have a mental conversation with Kogami there(since every conversation with Kogami is a mental one) - but did "Tsunemori Akane" somehow talk to Shogo in that episode?

If you've got a scene in mind, feel free to share.

Ne. ne, user-chan, how come only one of the work stations is lit up? Aren't Akane and Kogami both supposed to be working?

Nice pun there.
