How come, after 8 years, Madoka is still a relevant show?

How come, after 8 years, Madoka is still a relevant show?
Was it ahead of its time?

It was just exceptionally good and passed most people's expectations

>8 years
Do you need me to teach you how to count?

No, just incredibly well marketed. Shaft and Urobuchi went in for the long con with Madoka and it paid off in spades.

>pretty good show
>appealed to especially autistic fans for some reason who spam it a lot
>new movie possibly sometime soon

Basically just a perfect storm

Not really, it's just anything remotely good will be talked about because of how stagnant the industry is.

I mean, we still have threads about Evangelion and Cowboy Bebop which are both over 18 years old.

I don't think it's especially relevant anymore. It's been 4 years since the last installment, and there hasn't been any news on the franchise for a long time. I think a lot of fans will have lost interest by the time they ever come around to continuing the franchise.

There are still threads on the daily though

a lot of the fanbase (specially artists) moved on to franchises like im@s and love live
kinda sad that madoka became a pachinko franchise

Homura>Mami>Kyouko>Madoka>Sayaka

You can not refute this

Nah, for a handful of months not too long ago there were no Madoka threads on Sup Forums for a while. Then an insane shitposter showed up and started making multiple a day for "reasons".

no actual discussion, just the same group of tripfriends reposting crack and porn

Madoka>Sayaka>Homura>Mami>Kyouko

I just did.

Compare the threads from today to the threads for 2011-2014. Now it's just a small number of frequent posters bickering over the same tired topics. Also, the people who browse this board doesn't represent the anime community as a whole.

...

I gonna be honest, I'm starting to see Anti Crack Kuns point of view. He may be insane, and really fucking annoying, but he might be right.

based homura>madoka>>>>>>kyouko>>>>>mami>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>shityaka

Stop making off topic low quality posts that have nothing to do with the Madoka series. Stop trying so hard to bait people and ruin threads.

Can you just fuck off already? Okay, everyone gets it. You're upset you have no friends and that you can't have your shipping cancer safe space here on Sup Forums. Enough is enough already. Threads should not be eternally ruined because of you.

Considering "Anti Crack Kuns" doesn't exist, you might just be insane yourself.

Yuri is saving anime, embrace it

Liking crack shit is the exact opposite of liking yuri. The only way a crack image can exist is if someone is shitting on a preexisting yuri relationship from the canon of some series.

You mean

Nope, I mean you, e.g. And the posts you are linking aren't shitposting. So your claim makes even less sense.

>The Different Story is part of the Madoka's lore
>off-topic
Sure thing.

It's fanbase are a bunch of autistic morons who are incapable of letting anything go. Madoka is dead.

In fairness, it is one of the best shows ever made.

Madoka threads on this board though are pure cancer

>Oriko and Kazumi get mentionned in a thread
>nobody lost their shit about it
I'm sure it's just you who always gets mad when someone mentions TDS.

Hello mod, I see banned me for ban evasion. But I can't help but wonder why if you care so much about ban evasion why you aren't banning who is also ban evading.

Please take a close look at the image I am post. Someone got a ban saying "stop baiting" and he instantly ban evaded and posted a screen shot of his ban page.

You didn't mention TDS, you posted crack shit.
And no body ever "loses their shit" either way. You're just autistic to an insane fault, so you think anyone who says something you don't like is mad.

>we will never get the last movie
Maybe it's a good thing.

I don't like Homura as a character, nor do I respect the intelligent opinion of anyone who finds her interesting in any sort of way or fashion because she, Homura, is a poorly written excuse for a edgy second protagonist in an already dull series.
Also Mami is the best.

The cute girls add to the longevity of the series. Also you get retards every now and then who couldn't understand Rebellion or something and strike up a discussion.

If the last movie stars Mami like that preview suggests I want it though

It gave us these words of wisdom.

>Madoka
>Relevant
A bunch of very autistic fucktards posting their cancerous generals doesn't make it relevant.

It is a great anime

Image has no relation to TDS. And no, it's almost irrelevant.
TDS was a mistake.

It's far from being "still relevant", Sup Forums just refuses to let go.

How so? TDS was nice.

Mami and Kyouko definitely love each other.

Just what came out of it.

Punch Whoremura

Stop shitposting. Stop reporting the same off topic images all the time. Stop trying to bait people.

Please, enough is enough.

Uh oh, what's about to happen now?

Maybe. I think rebellion might have shattered the fandom though. Still, Madoka was like #3 in that top 100 anime of all time poll a couple months ago.

The anime inspired a lot of doujins and crazy fan works. I think they were trying to generate that kind of interaction again with rebellion, but I'm not sure it worked out.

I think Rebellion did take a bit from those doujins, given they decided to make Homura actually be in love with Madoka instead of it just being a platonic friendship, and tried to ship Sayaka and Kyouko as well like many doujins did.

She's about to unleash the power of Mami's mammies.

>look mommy! i posted it again! XD

What?

rebellion legit made me lose my interest in madoka

Just how you lost interest in pussy, faggot.

Homura was already in love with Madoka. Going through and destroying so many time lines, helping create a witch that destroys the world all for one girl is not normal friend feelings. Also no doujin depicted Homura turning into a demon.

And the anime already shipped Kyouko and Sayaka. Sayaka trying so hard to prove to Kyouko she can be justice meguca, Kyouko becoming obsessed with Sayaka, carrying her body around trying to bring her back, and in the end sacrificing herself so Sayaka would not be alone. In rebellion Sayaka just acknowledges this stuff happened.

I was hoping they'd have a little more chemistry in TDS.

>Homura was already in love with Madoka.
There is no proof of said statement anywhere in the main Madoka series proper.

>And the anime already shipped Kyouko and Sayaka.
They tried to kill each other the first time. And there was no hint of any romantic feeling from either at any point.

Good thing they kissed.

>They tried to kill each other the first time.
False, Kyouko just wanted to bully Sayaka. Sayaka's quick recovery from her blow is what pissed her off and drove her to fight serious.
And there was no hint of any romantic feeling from either at any point.
Kyouko's were present when Sayaka reminds her of her old self and the stories where love and courage triumph she believed in.
But really, episode 9 aside. What sky-rocketed the pair was their character duet song.
A shit.

>arguing with yurishitters

Why not? Madoka is not a Yuri series.

It's not, but it has elements. And mainly love and suffering seems to be the driving force of the story.

Maguka existed in 2009?

>Was it ahead of its time?

The ending was Akira. Just that it came out of a poorly developed Mary Sue. The show isn't deep at all.
Oh, and the character design isn't cute. Shaft has alot to learn from Kyoani.

Are you kidding me? Madoka is strong as ever m8

Normies be finding Pachinko-games' "good endings" better than the show

I more or less feel like it left an impact due angst + animation + the sheer yuri

My friends are fans but are more into Hero Academia these days.

I remember attempting to make some crossover fanfic detailing how Link (Majora's Mask) would end up meeting Homura and Kaworu (Evangelion) through time travel
