There's also the chance Frieza would end up on Earf due to Vegeta dying, would probably get his attention. Then Cell could happen and that's another one you can't Kienzan.

DBZ Kai doesn't remove all the anime-only stuff, user. It just removes the distracting stuff like Chichi trying to get to Namek during Goku vs Freeza.

There is the anime continuity and then there is the manga continuity. Try not to mix the both together.
