Remember when PA Works used to make good SoLs?
Nope.
No.
ok
Me neither.
Will they ever top Iroha?
Lull in the sea still one of my favorite shows.
I should probably watch Eccentric family to get that nice vibe back, I like Sakura Quest but it's meh so far.
Their latest one just finished like an hour ago.
Sakura Quest is not as good as Shirobako but it's better than Hanairo and Tari Tari, let alone shit like Glass Lip.
Man, what a comfy series.
...
This.
I've only seen Iroha and Angel Beats. Should I keep it that way?
Watch Shirobako, it's good
...
Shirobako and Sakura Quest both top it. But no doubt it is still very good.
Tari Tari wasn't that good. I didn't like how they only focused on one character for several episodes, then forgot about that character to focus on only one other characters, with the characters taking turns to get focus. It'd be much better if they gave all characters some attention through the whole series so we didn't forget about the other characters. And we could see some better character interaction too then.
Agreed.
Altough I personally prefer it over Shirobako, but even I see how objectively the Shiro is better.
I think we can finally all agree that it goes like this:
Shirobako > Sakura Quest > Hanasaku > Tari Tari >>> Glasslip
pink butthole
piss > vomit > shit > Shirobako > Sakura Quest > Hanasaku > Tari Tari >>> Glasslip
5 girls > 5 girls > 4 girls > 3 girls 2 guys > 3 girls 3 guys
I'm sensing some sort of pattern here.
Aren't they gonna do citrus?
Literally when?
Hanasaku really nails the idyllic countryside atmosphere of the whole show that make me remember it more fondly despite all of its writing problems from you know who. I still get a great nostalgic feeling listening to the OP. Sakura Quest is more realistic sure but it doesn't really go far enough with that realism to be impactful like Shirobako was and is kind of lacking in memorability despite being better in its writing.
I'm probably biased for not hating nano.Ripe but otherwise I agree.
