That would be 25 for the murder, and 9 years each for the grievous bodily harm. There might also be some "operating a vehicle dangerously" charges as well but I can't imagine they would have been prosecuted.

Assuming he plead guilty (he must have if the sentencing happened this soon) 43 years is a pretty fucking gross sentence. I would have made the sentences run concurrent, not cumulatively, for a 25 year head sentence, and I wouldn't be surprised if it gets reduced on appeal. Totality principle clearly has not been applied properly here because the Court got whipped up by the "reee domestic terrorism, neo-Nazis" furore sweeping the West and forgot that its job is to apply fair sentences.
