The best part was that that episode aired in the exact same fucking week Gurren Lagann decided it needed to have a last minute GAINAX ending and leave everyone depressed. Seto no Hanayome ended up with the more badass finale of the two.
And it was so well made too, down to the tiny quirky details like Fujishiro Shark's cellphone wallpaper.
