Which one will reach the finish line first?
Easymodo: George is done with the HBO show, meaning he'll focus on writing full time until the final books are done and there are no more Idolm@ster games for Miura to furiously fap to.

Memes aside, I don't think Miura really played a lot of IM@S.
Also Berserk is reaching its end IIRC it's bound to end after elf island while there's still some shit to happen in GoT.
I think that's part of the OP to promote discussion, not a fact.
With how fast the 3d anime is plowing through the story, And how hard miura has been hinting at the ending lately, It wouldn't surprise me if berserk ends in the next year or two.
I can still see Martin dragging shit on for another 4-5 books, which'll take him at least a year to write, so I think Miura has the upper hand for now. Unless he's also a GoT fan.
In all seriousness, he probably doesn't play as much has people joke about. He is/was a fan of the game and Chihaya at the very least. Probably no more than any other typical iM@S casual though. I doubt he's spending thousands on DLC and mobage gachas or reading the dozens of alt universe manga.
Didn't he settle for 7 books? There's no way he would finish more books in his lifetime.
>Martin is a fan of Berserk and is waiting for Miura to release another chapter so he can start writing GoT again
>Miura is a fan of Martin and is waiting for a new book so he can write again
And thus, the hiatus.
Neither will finish. Martin will die of heart attack and miura gets cancer.
I don't trust him since it'll be more profitable for him to drag things out. He'll probably pull a "split the last book into 2 parts" shtick.
Martin's procrastination powers are so ridiculous they make Miura look tame. I wouldn't be surprised if Miura finishes before Martin.
btw I have a feeling there will be a loooooooong ass break when Martin releases his sixth book.
Berserk still has an entire final arc to finish, i.e. what Guts decides to do about Griffith.
Millennium Falcon is all about bringing Casca back and Griffith taking his kingdom, but where Griffith and Guts proceed from there is still undecided. Guts' thought process isn't particularly clear yet since he's still focused on Casca, but Casca herself will have a lot of sway on what path he chooses.
GOT I don't know because I don't watch HBO crap
berserk has released 30~ chapters in 6 years, and has a minimum of 60 chapters left in final arc. Looking at potentially 10+ years before berserk is finished.
>it'll be more profitable for him
The dude won't even live long enough to waste all the money he got from producing the HBO series, I hope he's not that much of a greedy bastard.
Berserk will finish first. I have no doubt at all about it.
You guys don't understand about GRRM. I'll try;
The first book took him a year and half to finish.
The second book took two years.
The third book took two years.
The fourth book took FIVE years.
The fifth book took SIX years.
The sixth book he has been working on for SIX years already and the only thing he is on the record admitting to have finished is 200 pages. It almost certainly will not be done in 2017. Or even 2018.
The seventh book he has not even started yet.
Put that shit on a graph against Berserk's hiatus bumps and you see pretty quick Berserk is going to finish first.
Maybe, MAYBE, GRRM will finish it around 2025 but that's wildly optimistic. Probably like 2030 given the time between each book.
This is all assuming he even lives that long given he is an obese old man who does nothing but blog about football and eat cheese pizza and lemoncakes.
>GOT I don't know because I don't watch HBO crap
But this one is really good. You should watch it.
Considering the fact this season is the second-to-last one of GOT, the answer is easy.
I swear if I didn't pick his shitty fucking books back in 2000 I wouldn't be stuck in his wild ride. Thank god the show will at least bring a conclusion.
>The dude won't even live long enough
Why? Is he sick or something? And you can very easy spend one million dollar in one day. Spending money isn't hard and it doesn't take long.
>he is on the record admitting to have finished is 200 pages
Are you fucking serious? When did he say that?
>he is an obese old man who does nothing but blog about football and eat cheese pizza and lemoncakes
Typical american. Jesus what is wrong with those people
seasons 4-5-6 are garbage
>the second-to-last one of GOT, the answer is easy
>he doesn't know about 4 spinoffs and prequel
It will last for 10 more years at least
GRRM will never finish ASoIaF. GRRM never finishes anything, including any of the campaigns he GM'd. He just keeps making things more and more convoluted until he gives up. He's been doing it since the 80s and Wild Cards.
They may very well exist, but the main plot line is as I said.
What a lazy fat fuck.
George R. R. Martin has no chance of finishing his series before his death. He's fat, old, overweight and too busy going to conventions and shit
>George is done with the show
Nani?
I thought the Game of Thrones writer is already dead.
It was an interview I want to say maybe 2016. He rarely admits how much is actually finished for obvious reasons; people freak out. The publisher has been announcing it will be finished "this year" for many many years as everyone knows. I'm sure he doesn't tell them how much he's actually finished either.
No that's the Wheel of Time guy.
>Born: September 20, 1948 (age 68)
He is fucking old. He can die anytime from old age.
Who are the 20 good men of anime and manga?
Information about 200 finished pages is from 2012 user.
He's still alive and the makers of the show know the planned ending in case he dies.
>grrm
>living another 13 years
>next decade or two.

So how many do you have total?
He's both fat and like 68 years old, his only desires being to watch football and eat mexican food. The books are nothing but a burden to an old guy who probably wishes he was retired.
With the way things are going, I'm sure all of Jojo would be finished before the both of them

>So how many do you have total?
A few thousand, I guess.

seasons 4-6 would be garbage even by cable channel standards. 1-3 were good, but not half as good as everyone claimed they were, which is partially the reason why it's such a dogshit lowest common denominator show now.
>People still think that Martin is going to finish Game of Thrones when he's a 68 year old ancient, likely to die before the release of the final book, and slacker Socialist hippy that already got his sadism kicks out of the series.
>People think Miura is going to immediately end Berserk after Elf Island, with no closure or defeat of the God Hand.
Why are people stupid?

It's just that small because I set it to be smaller with a toolbar tool.
