Honestly, to us Europeans this fits well together with the core character flaws of the average American.
>Buying overpriced crap, that doesn't even last 10 generations >"Investing" in a house, which collapses when wolfs blow at it >No insulation, paying 50% of your income to the oil jew
Some people ask why American vacancies are not used to house homeless. This is your answer. American houses are only good for 2 years.
we have a lot of wood laying around, so the cost of rebuilding a house is cheaper than making it out of brick or stone. House insurance makes it a good investment, and most homes DO have insulation, not sure where you heard that.
Sebastian Martin
Because it's cheaper and easier to work with.
Wood houses last hundreds of years as long as you maintain them, which is still cheaper than a stone home. And, easier to fix when something does go wrong.
>no insulation Jew laws require tons of insulation, what are you on about?
Ryder Fisher
>american houses are only good for 2 years that simply isn't true, with proper maintenance and quality construction a house can last for centuries.
Joseph Gray
>10 generations I'm pretty sure none of the modern European houses will stand after 300+ years.
Jack Rodriguez
im pretty sure that is an Austrian flag but who cares.
Kayden Butler
You are wrong about a lot of things. American houses are insulated. Also, we'd build houses out of proper materials if we could but ZOG wants to be able to burn us alive WACO style so only (((government))) buildings are allowed to be built as durable structures. It's in the building code. Now you know.
Thomas Kelly
Oh i don't know. Maybe because if done right it can last over a 1000 years?
Grayson Wood
Another thing is that now American houses are built with 2nd growth wood which has a higher sugar content than did the old growth, so the new houses are more susceptible to fungus and rot.
Luke Evans
So we can brag about how big our houses are even though they are just made out of extremely cheap wood Even the apartment I live in is made of wood I shit you not
Chase Ramirez
Soaking in a borax solution could fix so much.
Elijah Garcia
Europe >Cut down all of their forests in the 17th-19th centuries making wood expensive; population until the late 20th century was very static and tended not to move; weather milder and less prone to massive wind damage North America >Wood plentiful and cheap, stone difficult and more expensive; population very mobile and prone to rapid movement; extreme weather makes stone/brick homes *more* dangerous in large areas One moment of thought
Aiden Martin
>You are wrong about a lot of things. American houses are insulated. Also, we'd build houses out of proper materials if we could but ZOG wants to be able to burn us alive WACO style so only (((government))) buildings are allowed to be built as durable structures. It's in the building code. Now you know. buildings code prevent you from using brick?
Benjamin Johnson
Yes. We can face a wall with brick but cannot build with it the right way. Then our homes would be SWAT proof, every man's home would be his castle.
>Quite a while ago, I wanted to have a home built. And I went to a homebuilder in Utah and talked to them to get a quote. And they quoted out the basement separately. When I saw the total on the basement, which included digging out the ground for it, laying the slab and pouring the walls for 4,500 square feet (top floor and basement), the basement portion including all piping and everything else underneath it was only $5,500.00 and the top portion of the house was $90,000. I asked him why the top cost so much compared to the basement, and he said because it has to be built out of wood, and wood takes a lot of labor - the concrete was easy. I then asked him if he could just build the entire house out of concrete, what it would cost, and he said $30,000 total, including all wiring, windows, EVERYTHING. And I asked him if he could do it, and he said NO. I asked why, and the answer shocked me -
>He said "Because if you build it out of concrete, it's considered by the government to be a military bunker, and if you get a wacko in there who wants to defy the government he can put up a hell of a fight with a few guns. I could build it, but the state would quickly arrive with bulldozers and tear it down."
>I then said, well, what about the homes that are built with brick?
>He said, "that is only a facade, it has to be entirely supported by the wood wall behind it, and it has to fall inward if the wood portion of the home behind it burns and cannot remain standing after any fire, at least if it is up to code"
Dominic Powell
Log cabins can be in great condition after centuries.

Landon Gomez
As a home builder I can confirm it is true. We live in flammable crackerjack boxes so ZOG can holocaust us at any sign of resistance.
Andrew Barnes
why are you trying to imply that only americans build homes out of wood? scandinavians and japanese both do as well
also why do you think we don't have insulation?
Jordan Hall
hmm... but what if you say that the bricks are all weapons? Then it should be legal right? Or just build your house out of guns.
Zachary Phillips
This is what people tell me coming back from the US. No insulation, insane heating bills, huge gaps between door and floor, so more heat can escape. But it doesn't matter as most Americans move 2-3 times a year chasing some job opportunity.
Jacob Moore
100% bullshit story lol people will believe anything
notice how he never cites the law banning concrete homes
Sebastian Diaz
Did somebody circumcise your hate boner or something?
I LITERALLY crack open the windows open for most of winter so I can enjoy comfy fresh air and comfy heat.
Logan Torres
I know you are attempting humor and are failing miserably at it.
Gavin Lewis
Sorry, we don't do circumcision in non America.
Ryan Campbell
Show me a concrete home. They are all made of wood even though concrete is faster, cheaper and better. Have fun burning alive in your basement when ZOG drone strikes you.
Hunter Long
Why not? It doesn't cost that much.
Grayson Moore
>last ..... What a dumb fucking logical fallacy you piece of shit redditor get the fuck off my board Stupid motherfucking shill I'll gut every last one of you
Wood jointing is not used in modern construction, fuckface
Aiden Scott
Pic related kike. How do I know? >It doesn't cost that much. Oy vey!
Josiah Brooks
they're too expensive guy in link was lying about how cheap the basement was
Brody Powell
Insurance covers it. It's basically free health care.
Kevin Gonzalez
You're lying shill. Add up the man hours plus material cost. Concrete is way cheaper because it's fast, doesn't take a crew of carpenters working for months on end.
James Young
It traumatizes and according to your 'religion' it marks the goy as slave of the Jew.
Dylan Richardson
Please let's not be anti-semitic ITT
John Parker
We killed all the wolves with our guns so we don't need to worry about having them blown down
Luis Hill
Anything not needing an engineer for design is basically wooden. It cheap, plentiful, and easy to work with. This is the same mostly everywhere unless youre some sad eastern slav commie who uses concrete for everything
Eli Lewis
Euroshits dont own houses unless their families built them by hand 500 years ago, find a house in austria cheaper than 200000 euros, pro tip, you cant
Luis Torres
You're a Jew and this is Sup Forums. So now...why are you so obsessed with white cocks? It's not like they don't come in brown or black. Pic related.
Caleb Mitchell
if there is a crew of carpenters a house will be framed within a couple weeks
when you see houses being built for "months on end" either there is a financing problem, time tables not matching up between electrician, framers, and plumbers, or it's just 1 guy and his sons building it
why would i "shill" this? i don't care either way but you're just wrong and lying about it for some reason. i've seen earth homes that look like hobbit's homes where every side but one is covered in earth - why are those not illegal then? they are framed with concrete.
cite the law banning concrete homes please
Noah Powell
Eurocucks will believe anything. Guess that's why they're willingly being overrun with sand niggers.
Jaxon Ramirez
Europeans are not phased by prices. We don't care if its cheap. We are not enslaved to "a great deal". Its child abuse, not much different to African genital mutilation.
Ethan Garcia
What massive logging operations do you have on your shit island?

Wow you hate black people? I thought that was illegal in Europe. Why are you importing them if you hate them so much?

Framing happens quickly. I know because I'm a professional. it's all the finish work that takes time. Now tell my Mr. Jew, have you ever built a house? Can you show me a concrete house? Didn't think so. They are all wood.

My moms house was built in 1849 w out of wood and is pretty sturdy. The foundation is stone and the basement has hand hewn beams. Nice harwood floors and yellow pine walls. It is not insulated. Very old houses to my understanding were not.

Nah, they just pop some infant ibuprofen afterward or whatever, as if that's totally normal after invasive surgery. If you read in to it, the Juden compare it to the feeling of "tearing off a bandage."

Wood is useful: Build a cross and nail a nigger on it Burn Niggers with it Trees to hang niggers Baseballbats to smash Nigger skulls Throw a burning log into a nigger kindergarten Build caves for nigger slave housing Traps against niggers Build a bucket out of wood and fill it with nigger heads Make ropes for, you know Paper to write down how much Niggers you killed today Build a basket to fill it with nigger guts or babys Tree resin for resourceful clans man You can get water out of trees to boil niggers
See?

My house is 90% concrete and brick. The only parts made of wood are the beam in the roof (and doors and windows)
Fucking wood parts that stick out of my roof are bending thanks to seasonal effects / humidity heat etc. Pushing out the bricks, and the concrete in between the bricks. mfw when wasps enter my roof thanks to fucking wood moving around.
The fucking wood parts have to be repainted every 5 years or so. tremendous cost since its high up, you can't reach it with a fucking ladder.
some birds started knocking holes into the wood parts.
I can't tell you how much I fucking hate wood when it comes to external building.
its just a fucking bug magnet and a money sink.
my next house will be 100% concrete
Tyler White
Nice b8 where did you read the The Onion? Even in nigger communities there are people there who've owned houses for generations
Justin Ramirez
I live in a house that was built in the 70s, we've got insulation, a fireplace, and central heating. The insulation is double what's necessary by code standards 'cause I live in the mountains. The only problem my house has is the goddamn woodpeckers pecking holes in the siding.
Lucas King
>live in so cal >every once in a while there are 5, 6, 7 mag earthquakes >wood shifts, rolls with the quake >walk through the neighborhood after quake; all the wooden houses still standing; >brick buildings crumble into heaps

split-level homes are the best for Christmas because that way you can easily smell the tree throughout the house ^_^

That's because you need hurricane bunkers there.
Brayden Price
By building homes that require constant upkeep and repairs, we secure a labor market for home renovators. You're right, they're shit, but they're meant to be shit, so we can keep our people busy.
The truth is, we only need an economy so our money still has value, we could all build quality homes that would last ten generations but then there wouldn't be enough work for everyone. Eventually the value of our money would drop and get dominated by countries like China just because the Chinese let their people use hatchets to chip away at roads, paying them full wages with full time hours to do meaningless shit. It's insane but it's keeps our currencies alive, it keeps at least some money in the hands of everyone, true labor is rare to find. Most of everything that we do is totally meaningless, except to prove that our people are doing "something", that way we can tell other countries where people live on humble acres and do perma-culture farming and all that, and say our money is more valuable than their money because we clock more hours of "labor" than they do. Cars are complicated and difficult to work on now, this secures the mechanic's labor market. Houses are complicated and require constant upkeep, which secures the home renovator's labor market. We take organic drugs and medicine that works without side effects, and outlaw it, so the pharmaceutical labor market can participate in economic generation with lab testing and synthesizing artificial versions of what we already had in organic form, just so they can have something to do. The vast majority of labor is fucking meaningless in a direct sense, we jump through hoops to make sure we can open labor markets anywhere we can just so we can have an excuse to employ millions of people and dispense small amounts of money to them. It's a stupid fucking economic trap that we're probably never going to escape because the first country to try always fucking collapses.
Ryan Diaz
>Honestly, to us Europeans this fits well together with the core character flaws of the average American.
Wrong. Wood is a very common material to use here.
>Only 45% of doctors who do circumcisions use any anesthesia at all so i guess the doctor i talked to is in the 45% >In 1997, doctors in Canada did a study to see what type of anesthesia was most effective in relieving the pain of circumcision. As with any study, they needed a control group that received no anesthesia. The doctors quickly realized that the babies who were not anesthetized were in so much pain that it would be unethical to continue with the study what the actual fuck?
Jack Bell
And now strap some plywood over it. >why hurricanes wipe out entire towns
Ayden Morgan
Might be true in that state, but in the rest of the US poured concrete slab homes are perfectly legal. The only issue is getting a good concrete contractor, who'll mix it right. You can also use cinderblock, which is cast concrete. The issue with cinderblock is it's 3x as expensive as 2x4 construction. Plus, cinderblock has to be built right in areas with a high water table, as seepage is a real issue. Considering most home construction is vinyl siding over cheap lumber and plywood, I'd rather spend more for cinderblock and steel for the frame, and decorate it with the same shit a wood house would get. Even here in earthquake country, cinderblock does very well, whereas brick does not. The only weak spot would be the roof, if it's framed in timber.
