Anybody who thinks the Cell arc was the best is a fucking idiot. It's objectively the worst written arc, and the Cell Games is the worst part of the entire manga.

I said it was pretty consistent. I'm no Gohanfag but it makes sense to me. Gohan usually only gets mad when somebody is obviously about to be killed or when somebody is killed, ie 16.
My memory is a bit fuzzy though, need to reread soon

I like Trunks and the designs and everything like that but the overall art, pacing, and story of the Cyborg/Cell portion of the story was such garbage I can't place it at the top tier. Not just the anime, even the manga art was kinda shit for a while there, like when 19 and 20 show up all the way till after Cell fights Pickleman especially looked like dogshit I wonder what was wrong with Toriyama.

The Cell Games were hype as fuck even if they were only 2 fights though.

Killed Frieza and his father, had great scenes standing up Vegeta during their first Cell fight and played pivotal role in Vegeta's character development and redemption. Later he saved his world singlehandedly.

I don't really need named attack, but yeah. Aside of anime version of Piccolo/17 fights they were hardly memorable.

It's actually good. It shows that they are not really heroes, Goku can endanger the world for a good fight, Vegeta straight up doesn't care about anyone before he develops his bond with Trunks, Krillin loses against love and morality, and Gohan after unleahing his emotions is unable to let Cell go with just death. Everything in-character and makes sense.

It's not just burgers. One of the best things about Cell is Wakamoto. And he's perfect.

That is true for:

And it's also true for them not being as evil and 16 awakening. But it doesn't explain the 19&20/17&18 switch. When Trunks first show up, he says 19 and 20 killed Gero and now destroy stuff just for fun. When he shows up later and doesn't recognize Gero, he specifically says 17 is a boy and 18 is a girl. So which androids are attacking his future? The butterfly effect from Trunks going back shouldn't affect his future, so it's not that.

So the problem is with names? Well, I don't remember, but if it's really like this (Trunks calling androids in his future #19 and #20) then it really is a plothole. Still, it's pretty minor.

Yeah, cell killed that trunks and used his time machine to get get to the main timeline.

I agree on this one. I highly disliked Cell got fucked at least 3 times and he still got away out of pure luck. That fucker had 0 skill to get out of his own mess.

Sucks, really. Recently I rewatched Z and was surprised to notice how similar and faggy are Z F Trunks and Super F Trunks, apparently my memories of him being a total badass are from movies.

Kind of wrong, they never got a worthy enemy to fight with at 100%. 18 never really fights but gets Vegeta rekt once, and 17 had a neat battle against Piccolo, but still he couldnt get 17 to unleash his full power.
