Do you store anime?

How much anime do you have in your hard drive Sup Forums?

2.5 TB.

Don't wanna wait for downloads so I stream that shit.

6.76TB

>Streaming

I don't have a vpn, hate waiting for downloads, and don't give too much of a shit about quality.

Who the fuck uses a VPN to download anime?

He needs a vpn

ikr

Kill yourself.

Entry level taste.png

Two 4TB HDDs that are constantly full because I only delete stuff if I have to. I have so much shit that I'll never rewatch but only keep because its a) hard to find stuff from 70s to 90s in good quality and b) because I might need it for screencaps. Just a bit ass that I cant torrent since I am German, or rather CBA risking it or paying for VPN so I only download from OCH and XDCC

Hire a seedbox service and download the files to your computer via encrypted ftp connection.

>streamfag.jpg

I figured ISPs sent you emails and shit when you torrent.

>download anime
Kill yourselves, fucking idiots

hownu.ru

If you're on a school's campus internet sometimes you'll get flagged for that shit

Honestly not that much.

I don't stream but I only keep series/episodes I'm currently watching, so a little under 5GB last time I checked. The majority of that is probably OVAs or movies that I really enjoyed and might decide to watch on a whim.

Only the really good ones. The rest gets deleted when the anime season ends.

currently have ~180gb of unwatched and/or currently airing shows on my HDD, but I delete series after I finish watching them

I do the same.

I only keep the ones I really like.
I have maybe 500gb.

4K rips when?

Never

When nyaa went down I was thankful I prepped

>if it's entry level it's bad
What shows do you watch that have an audience of 4 people?

Is that Lucky Star the. Avi files? I kept mine and don't intend on replacing them, it's a bit nostalgic what we had to settle with back in the day.

Nah, Doki's BD 720p release; I remember xvid vs h264 releases back in the day. Back when 480p was a work of SD goodness

I think AACS 2.0(encryption method of UHD BDs)
hasn't been cracked yet.

I use a headless scraper to download episodes from onepieceofbleach (store them all mixed up in the same root folder of course), encode with crf 30, upscale to 4k with waifu2x, encode again with sharpen and saturate filters, and then cut out the Japanese audio.
Most efficient use of my 320gb hard drive.

>How much anime do you have in your hard drive Sup Forums?
Only the ones I rewatch the most. The ones in black are anime I'm currently watching one episode every blue moon so these doesn't count because eventually I'm going to delete them.

Man it was always really obvious you're a newfag but holy shit. I didn't realize how bad.

You never stop being a newfriend to be honest. Anyway, >saving shit you will never watch

Download it then use plex server :^)

I'm only at 3TB, but it fluctuates with the season. I usually delete seasonal stuff after it ends unless I really liked it. Then I'll keep it until BDs come out and replace it with those.

about 200gb, delete everything I finish. I stream long running anime

You really think american ISPs care if you download some chinese cartoons?

About 1.5TB

60gb
Delete after watching obviously because space ain't free

This is my current collection, plus a couple hundred gigs scattered around that hasn't yet been sorted. I've lost three 2TB drives full of anime in the past though. Thanks Seagate.

Okay I guess I have to ask....what is the point of storing anime?

>You fag you can rewatch whenever you want and have something to do offline

Yeah but you won't. Check it out. When you have such a large variety of choice and see the amount of gigs you have to get through....you won't watch shit. Take it from a guy who had a bunch of movies he wanted to watch and just decided I was never going to get through it all. Who honestly has time to get through terabytes of anime?

>Who says I have to watch it now, I can watch it through years

Yeah but you won't An anime with 13 episodes is about 4 hours worth of watching. That is one anime and you expect me to believe you are going to dedicate a decent pace to get through your collection? Who are you kidding?

20+ TB

A little over 2TB.

t.lapcuck

what's the point of any collecting hobby?

more than you

>pirated anime
>collecting hobby

>criticizing piracy
Fuck off

I'm not criticizing piracy, I'm having a laugh at any sense of achievement over hoarding anime you get for FREE. You can't call that a "collecting hobby" you're just saving shit because you can not because you're a collector.

>criticizing piracy
I wonder who could be behind this post.

Filtered

Yeah, mostly older shows and raws. Or if you're particular about encode quality, generally only a single one will get propagated and it won't always be the best (Sailor Moon is a good example, most people have seen the awful R1/R2 DVDs)

Anyone who thinks things will always be available is a retard. Lots of things from the 80s and 90s with few or no seeds left anywhere

You don't have to spend money to collect. Bug collecting and bottle cap collecting for example are basically free hobbies too.

You can always request a reseed :^)

i like old fansubs, and because they're hard to get, i like to collect them. is that not a hobby? because i'm literally doing that right now
though, that doesn't mean i'm denying that hoarding Japanese cartoon mkvs is weird, because it absolutely fucking is

Macross Delta killed my desire to watch anime but I somehow still have 750GB of shit archived.

I really dont know how much I have, As I had backed up most on other media, but I suspect is more than 3TB.

Who are you to judge?
Different Sup Forumsnons, different waitching methods and pacing. I like to bingewatch some stuff.
And yes, on weekends some people spend their time watching sports or series. I watch every now and then anime I liked or some I have on backlog.
So yes, I am a counterexample for your theory, and I know some other Sup Forumsnons with the same viewing habits.
The fact that you cannot concieve something does not mean it does not exist.
>under 5GB
How cute

>Who are you to judge?
Nigga, we're on Sup Forums. Judging others and forcing arbitrary standards is what we do here.

naka naka ii senpai
chotto urayamashii desu

maybe so, (im not a newfag) but I didnt went full pedantic mode telling others they are wrong and I and only I am right. Even for Sup Forums standards he was annoying.

lurk more, cancer
>we
>forgetting to take your trip off
kill yourself faggot

>I don't have a vpn, hate waiting for downloads, and don't give too much of a shit about quality.
Then why don't you go back to reddshit or Gaia or whatever normalfag shithole you've come from?

This nigga right here.

>backlog
i thought the point was to autistically hoard anime that you'd already watched
i still don't understand why, though

Why the fuck do you autistic fags save anime, why just dont use kissanime?
You can watch anime in 1080p downloading it.

You forgot to open your gay porn tab, faggot.

considering how Thunderbolt is probably the only 4K anime to have ever been made (unless there's some masters of some pre-digital anime in 4K, which there probably isn't)
never.

Your name is going to have a UHD release, probably an upscale tho.

they're just doing that to save face but in reality, they don't really give a shit on what you download.

Hosting torrent files though is different, you might need protection for that.

How to have this style of display on win 7?
It's so clean with pictures

>using sites without ad blocking
sasuga Sup Forumsnon
I watch some anime in kissanime, the ones that I dont find relevant enough to storage it. The quality is above average and its not as annoying as other streaming sites that want you to watch 5+ ads in order to watch anything.
And if you know how, you can also download stuff, its a perfect way to test recommendations

A couple hundred GBs in my Downloads folder, don't bother categorizing them in an organized folder.

Then I've got my DVDs, much better than digital copies imo, they look great on a shelf
feels great to be an ausfag with access to madman releases

One archaic 500GB, one 1TB HD and one 2TB HD all packed to the brim, plus a fourth 2TB one that's a about quarter full of backlogs and recent shows.
Thanks to this thread I ended up peeking inside the first three and can't even remember how most of the shows in them ended.

where's the best place to look for old fansubs? I kinda like the SD presentation as well

OP here, I converted the jpg covers into .ico files.
Then you change the icon of the folder.

How do you get the preview to look like that

thanks

See I use icoconvert.com to do it then I change the icon of the folder.

In the icon conversion use these settings:
Custom Sizes: Multi-size in one icon
Only select 256*256 unless the resolution of the original image is less than that.

I've heard you get more letters from your ISP going on kiss sites than torrenting anime

searching for old fansubs is a huge pain in the ass lately because tons of sites have died in the past five years (or have gone private so i can't exactly recommend them), so i don't really have any specific recommendations unless you have a certain series in mind. really, unless you have someone that you know with the files or already know where to look, you usually have to jump around using google.

Trimmed about 120 gigs out a couple months ago. I keep series and movies I know I'll want to skim or rewatch later.

Why don't you guys just read and store manga instead? Faster than watching anime if you're not a slow reader.

I am kind of mad at how much time I wasted watching drawn out anime. Most of long-running shonen are much better in manga form.

they don't do that to save face they do that because THEY get letters from the copyright owners with your IP in them

it's just that the japanese companies who own the rights to those anime series don't give a fuck about americans pirating and don't send letters to the american ISPs

Anime is more exciting. Getting to see movement and hear sounds, and it being full color is just a better experience.

nyaa died but there was a backup of the site floating around the internet so both pantsu and .si have all the old anime that used to be on nyaa
i think they lost a lot of JAV shit that was on sukebei but that doesnt matter because >3dpd

I use AB and ADC for that.

>Wasting space.
>When KissAnime exist.
Kys nigger faggot.

>Why don't you guys just read and store manga instead
we do both, when you don't have to worry about storage you don't care what you do with your terabytes of space

159183298
streaming takes up more storage faggot and no (you)

Dude, it isnt 2005 anymore. It only tooks like 5 minutes when episode is downloaded

I like to have them on my computer. I do that with everything really.

>Phoneposter
Get out fag
